I would like to talk to you about the prophet Zechariah and your relationship to him as a ministering servant.
We heard during the conference the first chapter of this book read concerning the one upon a red horse, and with him there were red horses, speckled, and white. And we learned of the initiation of the ruby ray to the ministering servants. And this ruby-ray initiation has come upon us in this hour through Chamuel and Charity.
This event is a turning point in your life as a ministering servant. You have to understand that all that you are and all that you will do as ministering servants is predicated upon the dispensations of the Great White Brotherhood and all that they have given before. So the most important point of being the ministering servant is to become as an advocate, an attorney for and on behalf of the people. And to know how to defend them you must know the laws of God which apply - the laws and the dispensations and the covenants.
This means that you need to know scripture and you need to know the Teachings of the Ascended Masters. And it is up to you to organize yourself in the study of those Teachings according to the tapes and the books that we have published and to always keep current, because what is the most recent is that which is of most concern.
To go out as a ministering servant representing the Great White Brotherhood and not take with you the full understanding of the ruby sword and the ruby ray and the dictation of Chamuel and Charity would mean to go out without your full armour.
The apostle Paul told us that we should put on the whole armour of God "that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Your armour is different than the armour of another. Because, as Paul explained the mission of the warriors of Christ, "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
The ruby ray is the armour of those who are chelas of the Ascended Masters who are called upon to take their stand for Christ Truth and who are therefore admonished to protect themselves by the living Word through the intercession of Archangel Michael, who when called upon protects Lightbearers from the conspiracy of the hierarchy of fallen angels referred to as "principalities," "powers" and "rulers of darkness."
The Jerusalem Bible translates this passage as "the Sovereignties and the Powers who originate the darkness in this world, the spiritual army of evil in the heavens."1 Here the heavens means the astral, mental and lower etheric octaves. The Jerusalem commentary refers to these malevolent spirits - some of them being among the `elemental principles of the world' - as those who "disobeyed God and want to enslave the human race to themselves in sin."
Further enlightening us and confirming the true Teachings of Jesus and the saints through our ministry, the commentator says: "We used to be their slaves but Christ came to free us, and if Christians are armed with the power of Christ, they will be able to fight them."
According to the Teachings of the Great White Brotherhood, of every saint who has ever made it, according to the direct and unmistakable admonishments of beloved Jesus to us, it is imperative for every ministering servant who truly takes up the cross, the crown and the sword of Christ in defense of the children of Light to daily put on the armour of the tube of light, Archangel Michael's Rosary,2 and the call for the LORD's Judgment by the Ruby Ray of this false hierarchy of the seed of the Wicked One both on the astral and physical planes.
If you do not do this, beloved who would receive the mantle of the ministering servant, then your service will not be effective and you yourself or your loved ones may suffer loss from the onslaughts of those who are one-pointed in their goal to keep humanity enslaved.
Therefore, before we take up the prophecy of Zechariah concerning your initiation and service, take note of this translation of Ephesians 6:10-20 from the Jerusalem Bible and then compare it to the King James version:
Finally, grow strong in the Lord, with the strength of his power. Put God's armour on so as to be able to resist the devil's tactics. For it is not against human enemies that we have to struggle, but against the Sovereignties and the Powers who originate the darkness in this world, the spiritual army of evil in the heavens. That is why you must rely on God's armour, or you will not be able to put up any resistance when the worst happens, or have enough resources to hold your ground.
So stand your ground, with truth buckled round your waist, and integrity for a breastplate, wearing for shoes on your feet the eagerness to spread the gospel of peace and always carrying the shield of faith so that you can use it to put out the burning arrows of the evil one. And then you must accept salvation from God to be your helmet and receive the word of God from the Spirit to use as a sword.
Pray all the time, asking for what you need, praying in the Spirit on every possible occasion. Never get tired of staying awake to pray for all the saints; and pray for me to be given an opportunity to open my mouth and speak without fear and give out the mystery of the gospel of which I am an ambassador in chains; pray that in proclaiming it I may speak as boldly as I ought to.
This scripture will inform you that our instruction to you is consistent with the fundamental teachings of Christ and his apostles and that for the safety of your soul you must heed them. Your dynamic decrees are the word of God given to you from the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood for you to use as a sword. Your scientific prayer without ceasing is taught to you by Jesus and Kuthumi in Prayer and Meditation.
The chelas of El Morya who do not take seriously this principle and chief cornerstone of their mission are noticeably weak-willed, lacking in Christ's dynamism, nonachievers, quarrelsome and garrulous, being tossed and tumbled by unseen mockers of their discipleship. Ultimately, the gripping vengeance of the same sinister force encountered by Paul causes them to spin off from the fiery center of our Community, only to land in the lap of mediocrity from which they had been rescued and from which they had clean escaped by the grace of the holy angels.
The Measuring of the Disciples and the Community
The second chapter of Zechariah was read to you today.3 It spoke about a man with a measuring line in his hand. This is the Mediator, this is your Christ Self who comes to measure exactly what you have attained and what your service has been. That service, then, is measured, and the measuring is of Jerusalem - the "Place of Peace," the Community of all disciples pursuing the path of initiation leading to personal Christhood. The spiritual progress of each one and the Community as a whole must periodically be reviewed by soul testing and evaluation.
And so, the measuring is of the City Foursquare. This Jerusalem, like the Great Pyramid, is the symbol of what you are building. So along comes the Holy Christ Self with the measuring line to see what is the breadth thereof and what is the length thereof - what are the dimensions, what is the level of consciousness? Have you fulfilled that which you went forth to do in the beginning?
The LORD Shall Choose Jerusalem Again
We read that an angel talked with the prophet Zechariah and another angel went out to meet the first angel, telling him to give the message to Zechariah: Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. (Zech. 2:4, 5)
So we are concerned with chapters 2 and 3 of the Book of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet. His ministry and prophecies are set from 520 to 487 B.C. They were given to the remnant who returned after the seventy years of Babylonian captivity to exalt their God in the Holy City.
This prophet, one of the last of the Old Testament, has a great message because he speaks of the daughter of Zion. The daughter of Zion is the soul, the composite soul or the spirit, of all of those who descended from the Lord Sanat Kumara. His is the prophecy concerning the remnant of Lightbearers who gather in the Community of the Holy Spirit to build the New Jerusalem, the mountain of God. It is the prediction of the coming of the Sanat Kumara with his own as the precursors of the golden age.
And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. (Zech. 2:11, 12)
Thus, it is a second choosing of Jerusalem. It is the process of the selection of the seed of Sanat Kumara who have been victorious through all of their incarnations, having gone forth in the performance of his mission to the seed of Christ. It speaks to the flesh waiting for the LORD's quickening by the Spirit:
Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. (Zech. 2:13)
The Initiation of Joshua the High Priest
Now we come to the promise that is given to Joshua the high priest. And this chapter 3 was given to me by beloved El Morya when I was in meditation at my altar at Maitreya's Mystery School, specifically for you who are preparing to be ordained as ministering servants. It is the story of Joshua, the LORD Sanat Kumara's ministering servant, and it tells of what he must go through to become this priest.
And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD [the angel of the LORD is Archangel Michael], and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. (Zech. 3:1) Here we see the contenders for the soul of Joshua and for the soul of everyone who aspires to the office of ministering servant.
Now, this is the LORD, the God-man or Guru Sanat Kumara, personifying the I AM Presence in the visible form of Archangel Michael. Both the LORD and his angelic ambassador are present - the same way you experience the Master and the Messenger simultaneously in a dictation.
And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this [Joshua] a brand plucked out of the fire? (Zech. 3:2)
Here we have the instance of the calling upon the LORD by his emissary to rebuke the accuser who stands before the holy people to "accuse them before our God, day and night." It is recorded by Jude in the New Testament that Michael the Archangel, when contending with the devil for the body of Moses, "durst not bring against him a railing accusation but said, `The LORD rebuke thee."' This is a very important point of the Law to ministering servants because the LORD, the Mighty I AM Presence in the person of his emissary Archangel Michael, is the one who rebukes evil.
When we give our decrees and we give our calls - calls to Archangel Michael in the name of the Mighty I AM Presence and Christ Self - it is God through the instrumentation of the Captain of the LORD's hosts and all his legions and cohorts of Light and all the archangels who deals with the sinister forces and with the devil.
I take up this point of the Law because some of you have misinterpreted either the mantle of your office or the call from Sanat Kumara to mean that you should go out and challenge and rebuke Satan directly. But the judgments of the Lord Christ that we pronounce in our decrees are the Word of the LORD given by the archangels or by God through them which we ourselves embody and to which we give confirmation on earth as in heaven.
It is necessary for us to understand ourselves as the LORD's instruments and as extensions of the heavenly hierarchy but not as independent challengers of Death and Hell and its denizens, lest the epithet should be hung around our necks, "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread." It is because you as Christed ones do not have the equivalent of the office of Jesus Christ or that of Satan before he fell that it is not lawful for you to directly challenge that fallen one. But you must not fail to do so in the name of Jesus Christ, in the name of your Christ Self and the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood.
This is a very interesting teaching. Some of you have wondered why I have chosen not to personally or directly engage in confrontation, argument, discussion and interviews with the adversaries of myself or of this organization. It is because I understand that my office embodies the same law: "The LORD rebuke thee." So I make my supplication unto the LORD and he sends his angels to my side to deal with the contentious fallen ones, and they enter the field of the world which has been the territory of Satan. He is known as the prince of this world and of all that is in it. But the status of his seed and their strongholds is changing rapidly. (Nevertheless I do affirm: "The earth is the LORD's and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein!")
We have no reason to place ourselves in a target position of argumentation or self-defense. You and I have no interest in it. What is said does not bear the truth, and those who repeat it are not advocates of truth. So you find that those who are of the darkness engage in the darkness. And Morya's quote on the movie I was telling you about, Pale Rider, was "Only the dead can kill." It takes Death itself to be able to kill. So I do not engage Death or Satan; rather am I the instrument of the LORD and the LORD is my defense.
This is a very important point because we are called upon to challenge the ways of the wicked, their injustices, etc. - we are to rebuke the unrighteousness of the seed of the wicked. But there are certain beings, fallen ones on the left-handed path, who are at a level of hierarchy in the black arts, the equivalent of whose attainment on the right-handed path the chelas may not have externalized in full God-mastery in physical embodiment in this life.
And so we say "The LORD rebuke thee!" and then we give our alternate preamble to decree 10.00 taken from the prayers in Archangel Michael's Rosary and we use the science of the spoken Word to invoke the LORD, the Mighty I AM Presence and the Elohim and archangels to take command of all such seed of the Evil One as they see fit according to Divine Justice - not our sense of injustice.
We know that our Work is the Call, and God's Work through his angels and servant-sons who comprise the Great White Brotherhood is to answer that Call in his way.
So this is a very interesting statement, because sometimes the word LORD means "the angel of the LORD." If you read this, "And the angel of the LORD said unto Satan, `The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan,"' you can see that even Archangel Michael when he stands to do the LORD's Work in our behalf acknowledges that in so discharging his duties, in so defending us, he is himself the instrument of God and not the doer. Therefore, although he fully identifies with the I AM Presence, he does not say, "Satan, I rebuke thee!" But he gives the divine decree "The LORD rebuke thee!" which is immediately answered because of his oneness with God and the LORD Sanat Kumara.
Likewise, this is a fiat we can give before the workers of iniquity, the doers of unrighteousness, and instantly Archangel Michael, the Great White Brotherhood and your Mighty I AM Presence will flash forth their Light to turn the force of evil against itself. This, Jesus tells us, is the true meaning of turning the other cheek. If you are smitten on the right cheek, turn the other and let the Light of God deflect the next blow by the fiat:
In the name of Jesus Christ, The LORD rebuke thee!
Therefore, Archangel Michael submits himself to God's universal law of hierarchy, which unites all God-free beings in his service to his great heart of Light. The great Archangel - great because God is great in him - acknowledges that he is under the canopy and the protection of that LORD - that Sanat Kumara and that Mighty I AM Presence, "even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem." Truly the mighty in the LORD are mighty because they remain humble before him. And thereby they retain his power to wield as their own in his name.
Therefore we say in God's name I AM THAT I AM:
The LORD Sanat Kumara rebuke thee, thou Adversary of Church Universal and Triumphant - even the LORD that hath chosen us the New Jerusalem rebuke thee!
Now, the reason Satan has come is to take the office of priest from Joshua. The angel of the LORD is defending that office and he is saying to Satan, "Is not this [Joshua] a brand plucked out of the fire?"
The Priest's Change of Raiment
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. His filthy garments are his untransmuted sins and his karma. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
"I will cause thine iniquity to pass from thee" - thy karma.
Now, it is a principle of the Teaching of the Great White Brotherhood that when you come to the gate of the city - the Holy City, this New Jerusalem which is the Community of the Holy Spirit - and you offer yourself in service to the Great White Brotherhood on behalf of humanity, you are sponsored by that Brotherhood through the office (mantle) of the Messenger, who in some respect acts as an angel of the LORD - perhaps the littlest angel, but nevertheless as an emissary or messenger of the LORD.
Under that office and dispensation, which provides for our organization and its multifaceted activities, your `filthy rags' are taken from you and you are given a new raiment. It is the mantle of the office of chela - yours to wear and use in the true exercise of humility in the power of your Guru, who is Sanat Kumara.
This concept of the new raiment explains why novitiates who go into a holy order of the Catholic Church or other orders, such as the Buddhist or Islamic orders, put on garments of their order, symbolizing that they have taken unto themselves an office in the hierarchy of the Brotherhood and therefore laid aside their "filthy garments" of the world. And in the process of fulfilling the office, they will balance the karma symbolized in the garments laid aside.
This is the nature of the dispensation and it is true. And you can see this in the life of Becket and Thomas More. When Becket became the representative of the Church (the archbishop of Canterbury), we find he went immediately from being a statesman and a worldly man to becoming a holy man of God. Henry could never understand this, neither in his embodiment as Henry II nor as Henry VIII - both the same stubborn, contentious and sometimes lovable soul. He never understood it in the case of More, who though occupying the post of lord chancellor of England nevertheless objected to Henry's actions on religious principles and in defense of the Holy Church. He believed Becket and More to be men of the world and should so remain and therefore occupy their offices to his advantage.
But, in fact, the mantle is self-transforming. This is why we have vows, this is why we have initiations - because when you take a vow to be a ministering servant before the altar of God, you lay aside your worldliness. I am not talking about lay ministers, I am not talking about the general use of the term ministering servant. I am talking about ordination.
Ordination is when you stand before the altar of God to be anointed to perform the duties and rituals of the office of priest, or ministering servant in the formal use of the term, acting as a minister of Church Universal and Triumphant and having the title of Reverend. In this capacity you represent the Holy Christ Self and you may intercede for the people before the inner court of the sacred fire; and like Joshua, there is the angel of the LORD on one side of you and Satan on the other. Your protection before that Satan is the raiment, so that the fallen one does not have an "in" to you through your former filthy garments of your karma - unless by stepping out of the bounds of your office, you make yourself vulnerable; for the mantle cannot protect you from your infractions of the law which governs your exercise of your office.
Thus, the order of the priesthood under Melchizedek,4 which is the order of our sponsorship under Jesus Christ and Saint Germain, is that very protection which we must have that we may perform the duties of a minister or a priest or a rabbi before the altar of God. And when we take up that mantle and we do so officially, not only do we have its protection but also it is incumbent upon us to defend its honor, its holiness.
"HOLINESS TO THE LORD": The Sealing of the Crown Chakra
and the Consecration of the Third Eye
"HOLINESS TO THE LORD" is worn on the mitre. It is emblazoned, it is carved in gold upon the headdress that is worn by the high priest - "HOLINESS TO THE LORD." The reason we are holy is because we live unto the LORD. So this is what is happening to Joshua. He is being prepared for this divine office. And the angel says, I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, ... which is the official dress of the priest. But you can think of it as the initiation of the crown chakra and the third eye. Holiness is a state of mind. It is purity of heart. And the comportment of the individual must be transformed by the mitre. It is the sealing and the consecration in a solar ring of light. This dedication of our life to the LORD's holiness is something to be worn.
As Morya has explained to us, we have to start beginning to play the role and the part of the office we would wear. The office of priest is ultimately the office of the Christ - it's preparatory to that end. The whole order of the priesthood in the Old Testament is leading up to the coming of The LORD Our Righteousness - the coming of the righteous Branch, whom we see as the Messiah in Jesus, and not only in Jesus but in our Holy Christ Self who is the true priest of our temple.
So the garment and the mitre upon his head are given as a protection to his performance of duties according to his resolve - so that he will "act the part." It's like a costume, a habit to be worn to remind oneself of the vow one has taken and to remind the community that you have renounced, not the world but its worldliness - that you have come apart, not in disdain or aversion, in a "holier than thou" attitude, but that you may better serve.
And in order to serve better you must go up the ladder of initiation; therefore you realize that while you occupy this holy office and perform its daily duties you are assuming the role of initiate of Christ even while becoming more and more that initiate. This office becomes as your undergarment. It is something that is the closest thing to your skin, to your spirit. It is your very life.
The congregation and people in general, as well as your relatives, should no longer treat you as someone who is worldly and of the world but have respect for your choice of mission and for the fact that the office itself gives you the opportunity to wear the raiment of your Christ Self in exchange for service. And we understand that this service that we give is all-consuming because we are asking to balance the karma of many, many lifetimes in one life of consecrated service to God. As we respect the mantle, so will others; and if they do not, we must require it as defenders of the Faith.
You must also be ready for the responsibility of the mantle: your karma for misdeeds against the mantle, the robe of your Christhood, will be greater than the karma for the same actions taken by those who have not the mantle. Thus one can sin against one's office, whereas similar deeds by the unordained, the uninitiated would not carry the same offense.
The mantle of priest, the mantle of ministering servant, is self-transforming. It's like one day a man is an ordinary man and the next day he is president of the United States. And no matter who he is, there is a certain transformation that occurs by the very presence of that mantle.
So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by. (Zech. 3:5)
The Covenant of the LORD with His Ministering Servant
And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by. (Zech. 3:6, 7)
If you come into alignment with your Holy Christ Self, your reward is the greater responsibility of being a steward - a steward for the consciousness of the people and therefore a judge in the sense of dividing the way of truth and justice and fairness in the midst of the congregation - "and thou shalt also keep my courts."
Camelot is a court. There are courts, there are departments, there are occupations and compartments of consciousness that we have whereby we may prove our soul's worth unto the LORD. And the Christ mind unto which you attune and which you become one with in your service - you enter that mind - is the canopy of all, and you walk in its places, vibrations, midst the people that stand by. So the more you are in the Christ mind and you are enriched thereby, the more the responsibility is upon you to keep the line of the man (the Holy Christ Self) who comes with the measuring line in the preceding chapter. You are holding the standard. You are thus the LORD's standard-bearer in the Community as a ministering servant.
Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. (Zech. 3:8) The BRANCH who is the righteous Branch is the Christ. He is the Branch of the Tree of Life that comes down as the intermediary for the people.
For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: ... This signifies the quickening of the chakras and the quickening of the crown of the Elohim, the focus in the brow of the seven rays of Elohim. ... behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. (Zech. 3:9)
This is what happens through the BRANCH in the dispensation of Christ that comes imminently through Jesus at the conclusion of the Old Testament. You see, the priest, the office of the priest, and the order of the Melchizedekian priesthood foreshadows the coming of the fullness of that Christ and that Messiah, first in the Piscean avatar and wayshower and secondly within his disciples' own temples, within the chela himself.
For has the chela not said, "I and my Guru are one"? Thus when that LORD Christ is fully come unto the chela, then that Christ counts, through his beloved disciple, as the Universal Christ for the balancing of world karma. So it says the iniquity of that land will be removed in one day by the fulfillment of the fullest extent of this office - realized only in the Guru/chela relationship which Jesus shared and which we share with Sanat Kumara.
In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree. (Zech. 3:10) Again it refers to Jeremiah's prophecy of the coming of The LORD Our Righteousness as the replacement for the false pastors who scatter and destroy the people of my pasture. Though the outer has failed, or may make mistakes from time to time, even in the exercise of its office, the coming of that Christ Self in you will not fail, the mantle will not fail and the Guru who sponsors you, even the LORD, will not fail.
Now, the reason this is such an important event is because it brings into perspective who is righteous and what is righteous about you, the ministering servant, you striving to move toward the fulfillment of a role of leadership. When referring to the exercise of this office, we love to use the term used by El Morya and the Maha Chohan - the concept of being the conductor, the conductor of the light of your I AM Presence, the one who conducts the electricity of the Christ Self and makes it available in this octave, stepped down to the needs of the sheep of the true Shepherd. Thus, the appropriate title for one who leads the rituals (services) of the Church is conductor.5
Archangel Michael, Sponsor of the Person and the Office of the Ministering Servant
So if we think that we will arrive at the point of being the ministering servant by study, we may be partly right. We must study to show ourselves approved, as Paul told Timothy, but if we put all of the techniques together and all of the knowledge together and all of the preparation and the ablutions together, we still must receive this blessing of the representative of the LORD - the LORD's angel. We still must be sponsored by Archangel Michael. We still must receive the ordination whereby the One Sent chooses to place upon us his mantle, of which we have chosen to make ourselves worthy. When Guru and chela mutually choose and mutually embrace, then it becomes "official" in the ritual of the changing of garments.
Joshua is standing there, a firebrand plucked out of Jerusalem. Joshua was the high priest and he was standing before the angel of the LORD. So he already occupies the office of the high priest, yet his garments are filthy. He has not gone through the initiation of the Great White Brotherhood, of Sanat Kumara. And no one can give you this. I cannot give you this. The LORD must give it. I may be the instrument of the ceremony and the blessing, but only the LORD can give this to you.
So the ordination by the angel of the LORD, by Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha - all instruments of Sanat Kumara - is something to strive toward by following the Lost Teachings of Jesus released by the Ascended Masters, doing what they tell you to do, following the Keepers of the Flame lessons, listening to what their admonishments are and transmuting your karma by moving from the present backwards.
There is a lot of material to cover, so you have to start in the present. And when you have studied this year's Pearls of Wisdom and releases, then you go to last year's and each succeeding year before. So if you are a new and eager student on the Path, this is the way to proceed. It's important to review if you've been here for a while and to realize that some of the most precious teachings you will ever have, which are the first teachings I read, are the Pearls of Wisdom that have not seen print in your time - those which are in our archives from `58 through 1962. They are extremely important as fundamental materials for new disciples of Christ's message of the Everlasting Gospel in the Aquarian age. And I always send forth the call for assistance in my publishing department because these would be out and in your hands if I had more help.
I commend you to the Teaching and the Word, the preparation and the Path. And then you need to let us know, "I wish to enter into the courts of the sacred fire. I wish to have this mantle. I wish to take my vow to be a pillar and an example in the Community." The assignments you will then be given are many and varied. But it is important that you realize the implications of Joshua's willingness to stand as the high priest in his filthy garments; it is an excellent example - the willingness to engage to the fullest extent in the LORD's Work until he send his angel to pluck you out of the fire - and the fire of hell breathing down your neck through Satan's rep, who stands so close to you in the hours just preceding the LORD's calling to your soul to be initiated by Archangel Michael.
And then, if you are ready for the altar and all the challenge and the change it will work in you, you will be taken through this changing-of-garments ceremony; it's a wonderful ceremony and through it you gain the realization that "God in me is the doer. Not I, but God in me."
You can be fully clothed with the raiment and you can be walking in the presence of your Christ Self, but it is not a one-time thing. It's not like you take one of these appliqués and you get out your hot iron and you get out your shirt and you press it onto your shirt and it's done forever. It doesn't happen that way. Every single day of your life while you are in this octave you are manifesting, forging, invoking and keeping the vigil of your Christhood.
Some of you who lose it do not value it enough to realize that Satan is standing right next to you at the altar. Satan is standing next to you in your service in the person of this or that one who fails to resist the devil's influence; for the devil will use anyone as a tool - even if it's only to hatch a certain plot. He'll use anyone, especially Mr. Nice Guy or that wholesome girl next door. He uses people as his instrument for your undoing who are otherwise harmless - `good' neighbors and `well-meaning' relatives. Or strangers you meet who are nonthreatening, solicitous, and seem to be acting in your best interest.
I learned this as a little child when I studied the life and works and teachings of Mary Baker Eddy. She wrote a book called Christ and Christmas, which she had had illustrated. And one of the illustrations she had the artist do which always impressed me was one of herself at her desk writing Science and Health - and at her feet was a coiled serpent ready to attack. That's what was in the painting. There she is writing the key to the scriptures and the science of Being from Jesus' heart and there's the coiled serpent. And I thought to myself that she had an amazing awareness of the carnal mind and the opposition of the world to the work of the Master's scribe.
Now, you may think that only happens to a Messenger, but that is where you are wrong. You think that that's only going to happen to you when you become the high priest. Well, why aren't you the high priest? It's because Satan and the angel of the LORD are already standing at your right hand and your left hand. And you have to get smart and realize that whatever the office you perform in the world, in a department of the Church or as a mother, as a father, as a teacher, whatever your employ - you are first and foremost Keepers of the Flame of Life.
And the flame of Life is the commodity that is not wanted on this planet by the princes of this world who are the Nephilim gods - hell's angels who are agents of death. And so they have everybody pretty well fooled that they're the good guys, but they're not the good guys.
Baalbek, Site of Evil Contamination by Satan's Seed
I can tell you as one point of evidence of many, many points of evidence I could give you this evening that I stood at Baalbek6 with Mark Prophet - on that very site in Lebanon. And it was radioactive from evil, intense evil. If that's the site of the infamous works of the Nephilim gods, believe me, I've got their number just from the vibration of that site alone!
There were places in that area that were so dark and had been used in such a dark way that if I hadn't experienced it, I wouldn't have believed it were possible. And Mark saw those records and he forbade anyone in the group to walk on that site. One individual decided not to heed Mark's warning and he has never been the same since. At that moment he chose Satan instead of Archangel Michael, and there is indeed a difference. But, then, he still has the opportunity to judge righteous judgment and make the choice for Maitreya the next time he has the encounter with the Great Initiator.
That particular site is one of the darkest places on the face of the earth. And the entire time we were there Mark assigned me to make intense invocations for the clearing of those records because of the darkness they magnetized to the Middle East and their terrible effect upon the tourists who came there. And that's what I spent the day doing - I went into each little temple and enclosure half destroyed and made my best calls to the Brotherhood to clear that area.
Now, Mark Prophet said in one of his lectures which is on tape (you may have heard it) that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by nuclear energy. And he said, "And I am not going to say any more." So he didn't go into the whole story, but he knew that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by nuclear energy. I never asked him how he knew because I figured he knew everything he knew from God. And so I didn't inquire further, but I certainly did believe him.
So when it comes to earning your way up the ladder of chelaship, you always have the coiled serpent present. I've drawn and diagramed it for you as your electronic belt. Mary Baker Eddy drew it sitting on the floor next to her, but it was in her auric field. The coiled serpent is the carnal mind. It is external, it is internal. It comes in every form - spacecraft, fallen angels, your own reasoning mind, your electronic belt, your karma, your "filthy rags," your iniquity. But it is there, and the two forces - Christ and Antichrist - are contending for your soul.
Your Perspective of Your Place on the Path
Whenever you lose that perspective, you're likely to lose the battle. And that's how this world is. I don't know how it got this way precisely, but I have a pretty good idea and I know that that's the way the fallen angels, called Watchers and Nephilim, play the game and I know that that's the key and I know that that is what we have to go after.
So this was the case of Joshua. Now, he wound up listening to Archangel Michael, didn't he? He received that blessing, he was strengthened in his garment. And this is what I want you to be.
Because, when you come to a level where you cease to strive and challenge and go through the struggle it takes to come out on top, then you're already losing your momentum, you're already in a downward spiral. You see, you can't stay at that point where you say, "I am comfortable enough here and the effort I have to make to cut through this subconscious momentum and these human patterns to accelerate on the Path is so intense and so overwhelming that I won't go any further. I'll just park right here where I am and accommodate my life to the human condition. This is my lot, why fight it?"
Because it's simply not possible to maintain your position unless you're accelerating. The whole cosmos is accelerating, and unless you keep up with it, you're going to backslide. It's like not being willing to cross over Jordan or not being willing to go into the Promised Land. It's saying, "I've gotten this far and I simply am not going to cut through to the next level." Don't kid yourself, you're going to fall back.
And here we are at the ruby-ray initiation and it demands going further. It demands seeing those things we don't want to see. It demands looking at them, challenging them and saying, "I am embracing the angel of the LORD," and then coming to the place where you finally wake up and you say to yourself, "If I'm going to get anywhere at all, I have to have the LORD's mantle." One day you realize that you need that mantle.
Holding the Focus of the Buddha for the Earth
In order to be in the earth Gautama Buddha went into meditation and then into samadhi. And there is a level of spiritual attainment that can be achieved in this world - which I became aware of from looking at the Buddha so long. And I said to myself, "Why is he always meditating? Why isn't he doing anything else? He's always meditating. Every statue you ever see of Gautama Buddha, he is meditating." And so I realized that the energy of the planet is so intense, the illusions so ferocious, that at a certain level of attainment, the Buddhic level, if you even open your mouth, you are already engaging in discord - just by beginning to speak and to interact at the human level.
So if you want to hold a really high focus of the Buddhic level in the earth, the only way to do it is to pour it through your chakras and be absolutely still in meditation. I do not say you should do this all the time. I do not say that you are at that level. But I am pointing it out to you so you will understand that the darkness of this world is very great - greater than you think.
And if you are trying to function in this world at the highest point of Light that you can maintain, then you also have to realize that the Light in this world is also very great - far greater than you think. Your role as disciples of Christ and Buddha is to hold the balance between these two absolutes - the Great Darkness and the Great Light. And it is at that point, that equilibrium, through the balanced threefold flame and the forces of body, mind and soul, must be maintained lest you go off the deep end.
In the course of defending your position centered in the six-pointed star "as Above, so below" as David also discovered the Hermetic key, you will encounter density and opposition. Because the world is moving in the opposite direction. So you take refuge in the Lord of the World in the sanctuary or in the sanctuary of your heart and you give dynamic decrees - you kneel in prayer at the altar of God and you are saturated in Light and you receive the impervious armour of Astrea and Archangel Michael. Then you go forth from the altar and charge in the name of Sanat Kumara.
The Ministering Servant's Initiation by the Ruby Ray
Our work necessitates speaking, a lot of talking, a lot of doing, a lot of action. And this is our initiation in the ruby ray. It is a tremendous joyous activity of Light. So we are given the spoken Word for transmutation and it's in and out. We go within to the temple of God, into the secret chamber of the heart. We go out into the world and we Charge! Charge! Charge! and let Victory be proclaimed!
And we keep going as long as we can keep charging without that density slowing us down and clogging up our chakras. When that happens we have to know enough to rev up the wheels of the chakras again with a renewed enthusiasm of the dynamic decree - never neglecting the alchemy of self-transcendence at the altar of God, or the prayer and the fasting, or to dip in to the sunshine and laughter of community life.
So my advice to you is not to cease accelerating and to be sure that you attain periodically to the highest level of consciousness that you have already experienced even once. We have these highs. We think, "I'll never let go of this again. I will never let myself sink into this or that vibration of smallness." And all of a sudden you find yourself down into it again. You weren't able to hang on to Light's blissful union. Because you need God-mastery of the flame of God-Harmony by Love.
So you have to make the effort to climb all over again. You have the tools. You have the dictations, the Teachings, the decrees. You need to remember which dictation it was that kindled in you the divine awareness you're seeking to recapture - what was the preceding service of songs and decrees that built the forcefield for the experience - and then go re-create the coil of light.
Sometimes in order to get back to that place you have to slay so many dragons, so many wild beasts, so much substance, and somehow you can deal yourself the unfair deal that says, "I really don't want to go that hard today, so I'll just kind of relax back here at this level." And then that gets to be a habit and it can be a habit for years. And you are depriving yourself of an attainment that you already had.
You can remember when you were that clear. You know when you knew that height of consciousness. You know what it was like. You know you had that God flame in your hand and in your heart. And the memory of the taste of it should be to you the longing once again to quaff the divine nectar. There is nothing comparable, nothing else you really want - even though when you get into the world you get all involved in it and think you want all these other things. What you really want is that state of consciousness. And that state of consciousness originates in the plane of Being out of which you will heal everything else that is beneath it.
So you have to fight to get back to it and you have to know that it is at your altar, at the place of change, where Satan and Archangel Michael stand until you are wholly ascended in the Light and free. And the Satans of this world are in their spacecraft and they are the space people; and they and their representatives in the planet have as their sole motivation the manipulation and control of the masses and the sons and daughters of God.
So I want you to approach the role of being a conductor of God's light - first to the Community of the called-out ones and then to the world - with your eyes wide open to the initiations. To that end I am going to read to you now chapter 4 from Zechariah. I am going to ask you to stand a moment while I read this chapter because you're getting a little bit sleepy.
The Vision of the Golden Candlestick and the Two Olive Trees
This is the vision of the golden candlestick and the two olive trees given to Zechariah the prophet. This is the initiation of the Holy Spirit unto the one that has already been given the spirit of prophecy and the mantle of prophet.
And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.
For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
The Offices of the Two Witnesses Prophesy the Guardianship of Your Twin Flames as the LORD's Ministering Servants
The two anointed ones are the twin flames of God who are the guardians of the Tree of Life. As Mark and I have shared that office and that anointing in your midst, so when you and your twin flame rise to that level of the Christ consciousness, you also shall become the guardians of the Tree of Life, the Mighty I AM Presence in the earth.
The anointed ones are prophetic of the Two Witnesses, to whom it is given to prophesy, as John the Revelator was told, "a thousand two hundred and threescore days" - i.e., cycles whose length of revolution is unknown, but according to a formula that can be accelerated or decelerated by free will. (Rev. 11:3, 4)
"These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth." But the Two Witnesses are prophetic of you and your twin flame and the spiritual office you can qualify yourselves to hold as guardians. These are the true guardians of God, and of the Sons of God who have descended into embodiment to rescue the children of Light.
As we know, the Watchers were originally appointed guardians. And they lusted after the daughters of Nephilim and lost their estate of keeping the flame of the Holy Christ Self for God's offspring. And when they fell to the astral/physical planes they rivaled amongst one another for rulership in the earth and they became the dark princes of this world and the destroyers of Good.
So this candlestick all of gold with the seven candles is celebrated in the Jewish tradition. But it is also the candlestick of the seven chakras and the crown. And so the bowl is the vessel of the spirit that takes incarnation to serve at the LORD's altar. It is the vessel of the Light, the vessel of the holy oil of the crown chakra and of the Christ mind.
You are the vessel of Christ as you love him, keep his commandments and minister to his own. So raise up the God consciousness in your seven centers and welcome the LORD Sanat Kumara into your temple today. Even so, come quickly, LORD Sanat Kumara.
