6.1  Scriptural Reading by the Messenger

     And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

     And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.

     And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

     And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

     The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.

     And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Entreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.

     And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.

     And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:

     For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.

     So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.

     Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father.

     And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.

     And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

     And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.

     Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

     And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:

     For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.

     He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

     So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

     And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back:

     And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee,

     But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

     And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

     And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

     And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

     And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

     And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.

     And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.

     And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

     And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother!

     And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:

     For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.

     After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.

     And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.1

I Kings 13

     My beloved, ere the worlds can be turned, they must be aligned from within. The most important worlds I know are not the far-off worlds of the causal bodies of cosmic beings nor planetary spheres moving round their respective central suns. The most important worlds I know are the worlds of my chelas.

     Yes, you are spherical beings. I enter your world often as I approach your aura and place my Presence with you or over you to join you happily in some noble endeavor of your heart, even if it be but a resolution to be good in the new year. I rejoice in every progressive and positive thought and feeling and seek to extend to you the coils of my own world to reinforce the strength of your determination to be God on earth. For what else is there to be but God?

     Thus these worlds, in order to be turned into the most advantageous perspective in regard to the Mighty I AM Presence, must receive the inner alignment that can come only through the obedience to one's own mentor and Christ Self and to the Great Lawgiver, the I AM THAT I AM.

     I come for alignment. And I illustrate to you, in this very poignant story of the prophet of God, the necessity for obedience, the necessity for inner attunement, oneness with the I AM THAT I AM, and one-pointedness in carrying out the direction of Almighty God spoken by an angel, a chohan of the ray, spoken by a messenger, or spoken by an ant, if he indeed be the messenger. One must be sufficiently aligned in order to hear the Word of righteousness and truth spoken by the authoritative Self - wherever that Self may appear, even in disguise.

     God does not tempt man, but man often becomes the instrumentation of self-temptation to another. The most well-meaning, and even those who may be brother on the Path as mutual prophet or chela or servant, can easily become by well-meaning, well-intended phrases that very instrument which would serve to deter you from the path of truthful and pure obedience, not only to the letter of the Word of God but to its spirit in all of its ramifications.

     The outstanding lesson here must be the common awareness of those who live by the spirit of prophecy and who trust in it, that the LORD GOD, the Mighty I AM Presence of each one, is one God and one LORD - and therefore there are no inconsistencies in communication.

     If you should consider that a direction by Saint Germain or the messenger would be contradicted by a subsequent message by El Morya, then you should begin to unravel the cause and the circumstances as to why there should be an apparent contradiction when heaven itself is always of one accord - whether it is the logical application of the law to differing human circumstances (which may appear to be contradictory but is not) or whether it is the manifestation of a lying spirit that is come in the guise of good to a fellow co-worker.

     Some have preferred the synthetic self to the Real Self, the God-ordained Self. Some who take lightly, and ought to take more seriously, the path of discipleship have sought to establish a synthetic self that may function well in society and in society's ways. When this synthetic self is instated in the temple of one's being, it becomes the false prophet, the lying prophet, and the disobedient prophet whose voice becomes louder and louder as a point of rationalization as to why the soul should not obey the first commandments of the LORD GOD taught to it by father and mother from earliest childhood.

     When priests who come as wolves in sheep's clothing in the altars of the churches, preaching a situation ethics and saying, "Things are different today than they were when Jesus Christ or Gautama Buddha lived, and therefore we must have our own interpretation of the laws of God," it is time that the individual seeker come apart and meditate beneath his own vine and fig tree2 to be certain that the words of another are not the self-temptation to which he would respond in order to justify his own synthetic self which he himself has created.

     We see chinks in the armor then, even of the chelas, in the desire for self-comfort or self-indulgence or the thought that one ought to heap upon one's own head the reward for service well rendered.

     The story that has been read to you illustrates that a true prophet of God, surely the voice and the instrumentation of Sanat Kumara, when disobedient must receive the same reproving of the law and the same correction. The lion himself - archetype of Maitreya,3 servant of God and Great Guru - must become the instrumentation of the descent of the law, instantaneous karmic return to the disobedient prophet. Yet he stood by and did not devour the carcass, showing that there was no impure vibration in the descent of the law of purity. In fact, it was a keeping of the vigil.

     The lion did not depart until the body was cared for and would be put in a place of safety where it would not be devoured by beasts, for that portion of karma was not the lot of the disobedient prophet. And therefore the body was not tampered with, almost as archetypal pattern of the prophecy regarding Christ's own crucifixion that not a bone of his body should be broken.4 Thus, though Christ was pierced in the side, yet his body remained intact - guarded also by his own Guru, Lord Maitreya, until his friends would lay him in the sepulchre where he, too, might prove the overcoming victory of life over death.

     One must understand the perspective of the law of Sanat Kumara in this story and realize that it occurred before the dispensation by which grace and mercy and the truth of the ever-present Christ Self would come through the LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ.5 This was the old dispensation prior to the Piscean age - instantaneous return of karma without the intercession of the Lord Christ incarnate. It was very necessary for the stiffnecked generation of that people to realize that if the LORD's own prophet, whose prophecies came to pass, should suffer so severe a judgment, where should they be likely to appear inasmuch as their own unrighteousness and intense sin was the subject of the LORD's rebuke?

     Was the sin that the prophet ate and drank with a fellow prophet? Nay, the sin was disobedience.

     It seems a small thing, and certainly a compassionate God should have wanted this man of God who had had such an intense encounter with the fallen one Jeroboam to be refreshed before he went on his journey. But by his own erroneous thinking, he was caught off-guard by the lying prophet - the lying prophet, the inaccurate prophet caught up and mouthing the words of spirits because he himself was concerned, perhaps, that the man of God had prophesied against the altar of Bethel and that this would come upon his own house as a rebuke of his own service. In any case, he had ulterior motives. And therefore the impurity of his heart made him, whether the lying or the unwitting instrument of the demise of the true prophet of God.

     Consider, then, how elemental life in the service of the prophet, even the ass, would tend him in recognition of the mantle itself, which remains inviolate and intact even though the wearer of the mantle may sin. You can realize that you all have a garment of the office that you bear. It is the office of chelaship. Sometime, by word or deed, there may occur the violation of the office, but the garment itself remains a matrix to which one can aspire. In the human counterpart, the garment may be stained, but the garment of your own Christ Self can never be stained.

     Thus, elemental life regards the holiness of the Christ Self of each one of you. And angels support that office until it should be permanently severed by Almighty God. And that permanent severing is never physical death, but it is the snapping of the cord and the chain of the Guru/chela relationship which cannot be reestablished for long millennia.

     The Lord God Almighty is long-suffering with his own and prefers rather to punish, rebuke, and chastise than to break that cord of the tie of the Guru/chela relationship. You might consider that the absence of punishment of the man of God would reveal that the tie had been broken. For once it is broken, never, never, never again is the comforting Word of chastisement ever again heard by the chela! But the swift and sudden retribution of the LORD - that which was even pronounced through the mouth of the lying prophet, showing God is no respecter of persons6 - thus brought about an immediate karmic return, showing the intense love of Maitreya for the one who was truly the true prophet.

     That lesson served to move the consciousness of the man of God at inner levels into an increased and intense alignment with his own Christ Self and with the will of God. Finding himself on other planes, seeing the folly of responding to such a ludicrous temptation, that one persevered and made the inner vow to serve more perfectly the Lord Sanat Kumara.

     Had he not been so chastened, he might have lived out that incarnation in the grossness and dullness of an accumulated and unexpiated karma! And that density, compounded by further infractions of the law that he would not be aware of because of his density, would have compounded finally to create an even greater karma than he had made and cause even greater suffering in the afterlife and in the incarnation to come.

     Without the teaching of the law of reincarnation and of karma, this story recounted in the Old Testament seems as a harsh one and almost to assume a position of a fairy tale or folklore, yet it comes down on the very best of authority - the earmark of the prophet in the withering of the hand of Jeroboam who sinned at the altar of God and then the restoration of that hand, the miracle itself of the lion and his vigil in not devouring the man, the miracle of God speaking the exact prophecy concerning the man of God through the lying prophet.

     That is a lesson in itself that you ought to cherish and value the Person of Christ and not become attached as idolaters to any mouthpiece, whether it is the one who introduced you to the teachings of the ascended masters or comforted you in the hour of any bereavement, or whether it is the messenger himself - the recognition that truth must always be evaluated by vibration and by its consistency with the prior established laws of the Brotherhood that are the pillars of the world's religions dating back hundreds of thousands of years, the consistency of the spirit of prophecy and the vibration of the Word when it is spoken.

     In order to recognize both of these, you must study the Scriptures and seek to understand the reproving of your own world that they already contain and, by your own diligence, to bring yourself into alignment so that when I come for that purpose I may be engaged in the fine-tuning of your mechanism by an ardent path of chelaship rather than to roll up my sleeves and begin the labor that you should have begun years ago in preparation for the coming of the Lord Sanat Kumara, your God and my God.

     Obedience as the path of life has not disappeared from our bands! It remains the most important, to be cherished in every heart. The meditation upon our Word and our teaching leads to a refinement of one's sensitivity as to what is right and wrong as a step to be taken, a word to be espoused.

     God does not always speak in direct command as to when you should eat and when you should not, or where you should go and how you should travel! God has spoken in an entire compendium of teaching that gives you the inner sense of righteousness and truth whereby, according to the certain Word of the Law within you, you obey because you understand the tradition of grace, the consistency of mercy, the manifold branches of the tree of love, and the flowers of peace. You understand their expression!

     The virtues of heaven indeed have an inner protocol, which you come to know and understand (though you are not outwardly tutored) through the sensitivity to the five secret rays, through giving time to the pondering of the deep things of God, to walking and talking with your Mighty I AM Presence.

     This unceasing communion, unceasing prayer of which Kuthumi and Jesus Christ have spoken in their book on Prayer and Meditation7 ought to become the Bible of each and every one of you! Unbroken communion - life being the living prayer and the candle that is never extinguished. You may give to me a birthday gift this year8 by the taking-up of the reading of this teaching which I was privileged to set forth in the name of the World Teachers.

     The power of meditation upon God is an ultimate power and a certain weapon against the forces of evil. The rejoicing of the man of God in the completion of his work should have been for him sufficiency of meat and drink and rest. And he should have leapt for joy to return to the place designated by the one who sent him forth on his mission.

     These lessons cannot be regimented. You cannot learn them from a book of rules. It is the inclined ear and the tender regard for all servants of God and the ascended hosts that always holds you in your right place and your right vibration because of that very rejoicing in the knowledge that you personally are sent from God each day on a mission. It is a coiled spring. It has a beginning and an ending. It is released, and you become electrified and overjoyed as the instrument of its fulfillment!

     Sometimes, when you are weary and know not how you will begin your day, suddenly the holy purpose to which God has ordained your very personal day comes upon you! And you feel, in a moment, a charge of energy and the desire to leap and run and start the task at hand! And when you do, you wonder how just a few moments or hours before you felt tired or listless or too burdened to begin.

     Let this be a lesson that when you work the works of God, the energy and light, the buoyancy of service is not the result of physical rest or nourishment, but in actuality an infusion of light that is a coil of initiation. Obviously, the necessity for obedience to the laws of chemistry, sleep, and proper food is always wise. But in obeying these laws, one must not become their prisoner. One must not be so burdened by the laws of materiality that one loses the sense that one's own spirit can transcend those laws when the hour requires it.

     I would, then, that chelas, and especially staff members who are in physical closeness to our embodied messenger, would consider how precise is the Word that is released as divine direction for the individual personally and for the organization. In the presence of this Word, we together remain in awe. And there is a tenderness and a quietude when one is so presently with such an immense fire as God is.

     One therefore does not have simultaneously with the release of the Word sometimes the apparently needed human drive and the whip to whip the offending consciousness into shape or alignment. If you would wait upon the Word of the LORD and respect its mouthpiece and its source, you must be ready to respond with a great God-determination and not place the burden upon the messenger for the reinforcement of that which is so clear - clear as the crystal of the River of Life9 whence it comes.

     The greater devotion you have to the crystal clarity of our Word, the more can be forthcoming. And if perchance you feel burdened by too many words or assignment, you must remember Moses, who appealed to God for mercy and for understanding, before Sanat Kumara - and it was granted.10

     So you may appeal to your own Christ Self and, in that Christ consciousness, also reason with the messenger. For when the messenger stands in the midst of the mountain and in the midst of the I AM Presence, it is the assessment of human detail and human life that is a most needed report, that the Word may be rightly divided11 and the law that descends may be in a sense held back, as Alpha's flame is held back, until the receiving one may have the ability to encompass and internalize all that the fiery coil contains.

     Our office as Guru and messenger to you provides you with instantaneous contact with the Mighty I AM Presence. Therefore, as you receive it and become distributing centers to the world, recognize that your glad option and responsibility must be to receive it at the point of the Christ mind. But if perchance you have receded from that level and find yourself in a human vibration - pray then, seek understanding with a good heart and a tolerant heart, waiting upon the LORD to reveal a more complete context of an individual assignment and how it can logically and within reason be carried out.

     Dear ones, you ought to realize that there is a point of God that does not have awareness of this level of human experience except through the Christ Presence. This may seem hard to understand, but you have often heard quoted the Word of Habakkuk: Mine eyes are too pure to behold iniquity.12 The word iniquity is also "inequity," which implies the injustices of the human consciousness.

     When you think that God knows all things that are happening, you are right in the sense that God always has angels and your own Christ Self and the angel of your I AM Presence and the recording angel to be aware of all that transpires. But there is a point of Godhead that withdraws from the scene of inequities, that can be no part of any world that is in a state of the karmic condition of imbalance. That point of God, therefore, must be invoked through his emissaries. And it is for this reason that God has created the entire hierarchy of cosmos and the ascended masters.

     God has foreordained that certain of his servants, namely the ascended masters, are and can be totally responsible in their awareness of human life for the outworking of that life and that karmic condition. Since every ascended master is God, having fused with the I AM Presence through the ritual of the ascension, God himself then is aware - God himself which he has chosen to be at a certain vibration and frequency.

     There are vibrations of God that are far, far beyond not only the ascended masters but the Elohim themselves. You might even say that that vibration of God is at a point of nonvibration - beyond the point of nirvana to the nirvana behind the nirvana. Any more I should say should be cause for speculation, and I would not incur that in you but rather give you a closer example.

     Jesus, when in embodiment, did not know of the death of Lazarus. Yet he was God. Prophets in embodiment did not know when injustices were occurring. The reason that you name conditions when you call to the great beings of cosmos is to call to their attention these conditions. God has created this world as your world. And if you are not informed as to certain things, you do not take action concerning them.

     When you call forth light with a specific decree into specific action, naming the person and the street address, you have an instantaneous coordinate on earth whereby the ray of Alpha through your heart may bring help. When you are nebulous and vague, the system of the mind of God must search out, as a cosmic computer, the exact focus, level, forcefield, and vibration of the apparent need. As water seeks its own level, so the light of God seeks its own level. And therefore ye are the light of the world13 - and the light that is in you is God and the God that is in you must maintain the vigil by constant awareness!

     And therefore there is suicide on earth, there are injustices, there are conditions that would make the angels weep! And people say, "Why does God allow it?" It is part of the admixture of physical life, the astral plane, and the levels where souls are suspended to work out their karma and their mission. The conditions that cause anything on earth are a part of the mathematical formula of the combined free will of all who live upon the planet.

     Free will is God. God is free will. Therefore, what free will has ordained, the God in you - as you - has ordained. Thus, you see, our religion that we share with the ascended masters comes down to the point of taking responsibility for being God on earth!

     Now, is this not what all the avatars have taught by example? What is the one thing that they have done in all ages? They have taken the responsibility to be God incarnate. All other actions, graces, teachings, manifestations of miracles of the law are a corollary to this one state of consciousness! You cannot say that it was a mere act of God that suddenly came upon them. The act of God came upon them and they took responsibility for integrating with that act!

     I can tell you from where I stand and where your messenger stands that every hour and every day still consists of the decision and the determination to take the responsibility to be God in the minutest sense! And it is the dedication to this and this alone upon which our messengership rests and remains.

     And when you see us together striving and wrestling with your human consciousness, it is because of the Great Law which ordains us and which says that the Guru must not be in the presence of imperfection, discord, or human creation without challenging it. It is our obedience to Sanat Kumara, in the impersonal sense of obedience to the Law, that requires us to strive with that level of human consciousness wherever it is found. It is not personal, but it becomes very personal since we are persons and you are persons, and both have feelings and hearts and a love for one another.

     But if you can look in the higher sense to the impersonal Law, you will understand many things. You will understand why I also sent forth from this company my own son Monroe Shearer this year, and with his family. And it is high time that those who wonder throughout the movement should realize that it is the action of the Law of our own messengership and of Sanat Kumara that compels this discipline. And that discipline rests between him and our own hearts.

     And if those in the field and at outlying regions find it difficult to understand, let them go to the Book of I Kings and read this chapter 13, and realize that the number 13 is the initiation of Christhood and that those that seek to put on the mantle of leadership and Christhood must also submit to the most meticulous laws governing that office. And where they are in violation of those laws, the great hand of God's mercy must place them outside of and apart from the very intense focus of the sacred fire that would cause them harm, further harm, were they to remain within that presence.

     Thus, let us not pity the man of God who was disobedient to his LORD. And let us not pity the lying prophet. Let us pity Almighty God, who must strive at times with servants who show their unworthiness! Let us pity him by offering our prayers unto him on behalf of the people of Poland, who deserve much more our consideration than those who are disciples and who are dealt with with the accuracy of the point of the diamond and the two-edged sword and the compassion of the Cosmic Christ.

     Let all understand that in each individual case of chelaship and discipleship, the hand of God, through the obedient prophet, delivers the just reward and the just chastisement. If it were not so, neither the gift of prophecy nor the office of messengership would remain.

     Therefore, let us support the office of our messengership as we support the office of your chelaship. And let us realize that all of us together are walking a path that demands fastidiousness, attention to detail, and ever-watchfulness! Let us intensify the vibration of one another's office and bow to the exigencies of our mutual offices.

     As you have the need to remain steadfast and devoted to your inner calling (whatever the criticism or the pity or the human sympathy or the pull that may come to you through any persons, known or unknown!), so we must do the same. And we will support you as you stand for your own right and your freedom to be God, as you defend your own office of chela - so long as you stand to defend our right and our God-determination to be one with the mantle of the cosmic messengers of Maitreya.

     Let us realize that cosmic law that governs our existence is not often understood or well received by the people of the world who must function under the human laws that have been imperfectly codified by human instruments. When you know the law and see it and understand it, I pray you, be not deterred from it by the offer of meat or drink or rest or some other human comfort! But realize that God is compassionate and will, in due course, offer to you the place prepared in the wilderness, the table of David.14

     Thus, the feast of Light is the feast of the teaching in the presence of the holy angels and ultimately the supper of the great God where you are called upon to assimilate the entire round of human creation of the fallen ones.15

     It is a noble endeavor of which we are all a part. I speak to every chela, every would-be chela, and everyone who calls himself chela throughout the world. As you receive us in the spirit of intense love, so you will find the gift of correction and discipline the highest good and the shortest distance between your state of consciousness and your victory.

     As I come in this hour, I must say: Hail to the Great Guru, Sanat Kumara! Hail to Gautama Buddha and Lord Maitreya! Hail to Jesus Christ, to Saint Germain, to Mother Mary, to El Morya, and to all of the ascended masters and cosmic beings who have ever spoken through me or tutored my heart or inspired my soul's poetry throughout all of my incarnations! For truly, I am God-taught. And I am, my beloved chelas, so very humble toward the vast cosmos which has bequeathed to me the ancient wisdom.

     What I have ever done to deserve the blessings of the LORD in such abundance, I do not know nor can I say. But of this one thing I am certain: that my gratitude to the fount overflowing in my being perpetually must be expressed throughout eternity toward those who are my chelas and those who are the lowly and the meek and the humble of heart!

     That I might infill them with the Light with which He has infilled me is my perpetual prayer - that I might give you my vision and my strength and my clear-seeing in the hour when temptation presents such a confusion of tongues and babble of voices and a hectic, hellish energy around you! I would give you the clarity of my heart and my long experience in facing the many choices that are offered daily by the legions of Mara.16

     I pray that you ascend to the scale of your own Christ consciousness. I pray that you become more than you are - the more that is God! And I pray that you realize that you are more in this moment than meets your own eye.

     You are more God-free, greater in stature, contain more Light than you even know! It is the condition of mortality and all to which the flesh is heir as momentum - it is the stifling, stifling of world thought and manipulation and psychotronics17 and hatred and interference with the cycles of the body through all impurities that causes you to have sometimes such a depressed self-awareness, depressed in the sense that it is put down, has a sense of confinement and smallness as though you were no one, nobody who had gone nowhere yet on the Path.

     I look at the magnificent God-free being that you are. And the entire passion of my soul is to connect your soul with that being! And, O it is a passion night and day! You need only speak my name, Lanello, and you will instantly have a ray from my heart that connects you to some vast portion, some noble stature of grandeur of your own true cosmic being! What appears to be a mere paltry extension of the I AM Presence is in fact the final descent into physical matter of your own being that already experiences the vastness of cosmos.

     Do not forfeit the ascent of the last remains of identity in this octave. Do not forfeit your ascent by the mighty rope by which you enter the trapdoor and it is shut and the great vehicle of your being moves on to other worlds! Do not allow your extended self in this level to cause you pain and loss of opportunity and life - and the stupid involvements that tear from you sometimes centuries of your own sacred labor!

     Do not allow it, precious hearts. You are not the synthetic self. However long you may labor to create that self, it is not you! I pray that you do not allow it to feed off of the great light of your own Mother flame. For the tares sown among the wheat18 extend their roots to earth's subwater systems. And they, too, would drink for a time of the Mother's energy.

     It is like the cancer that consumes the body from the energy of the body itself. This is what the synthetic self is, and the physical cancer is the synthetic self. Truly, those who watch by as loved ones go through this experience must, Almighty God, receive this lesson: that when you do not cut off the synthetic self, it eats the light of the soul, eats the light of the Mother flame and the chakras!

     After all, where do you think the Goliaths of the world in industry, the magnates, the bankers, the leaders derive their power? There is no other power in this octave save the Mother flame! They themselves are like a living cancer, through which the entire cancer of World Communism spreads! They are the synthetic self that has eaten alive, if there ever was, any real presence in them.

     I can tell you that much of the wisdom of God vouchsafed to me in my incarnations, which you have been hearing about,19 came through observation - a keen and penetrating observation of the world scene, of passing events, of the outworking of karma, and then going beyond the physical to the reading of the aura, the sensing of the soul. And ultimately all of this is made plain by the focusing upon the I AM Presence that reveals every cause behind every effect.

     The sharpening of the senses and of the inner eye will bring to your attention many obvious lessons of life. Go and meditate upon the sheep, for example - sheep on the hills of Camelot. When you meditate upon God in the heart of the sheep, you will discover the mystery of the Lamb20 and the lamb that was put to the sacrifice in the Old Testament and the lamb that was Isaac, provided and yet withdrawn by God for the very catching of the suitable sacrifice in the thicket.21

     Thus, God has ever provided the lamb for the sacrifice. Can it be any other way? God has given the Lamb Jesus Christ, Sanat Kumara. God has given the Lamb to you for meat - spiritual and physical. God has given to you the Lamb for the Bridegroom and the certain voice of the law of Love whose response in you ought to be, my beloved, unmistakable obedience - unmistakable obedience.

     Make no mistake then, it is true - that they that hear the voice of God and do it shall live.

     O gentle flame of Mercy, reveal thy inner strength clothed in garment of white, sapphire, amethyst. Flame of Mercy from the heart of Kuan Yin, O presence of Mother's eternal wooing of her children, now be the magnet and the open door of Elohim!

     I, LORD GOD, in the presence of Lanello and my messenger, ordain it. It is done, and it shall come to pass.

     In the name of the true Light, ye are sealed. Do not break the seal by disobedience to the Mighty I AM Presence. Make no mistake. For the hour of the fatal mistake is past and the hour of the certain life-victorious victory is at hand.

     Welcome now to my heart as Lanello for the turning of your world. You who seek me shall find me.
