Archangel Gabriel and Hope - November 1981

     Hail, legions of the Great Central Sun!

     Hail, sons and daughters of Light!

     I AM Gabriel!

     And Hope with me stands for the lily of your heart.

     Here we come and here AM I!

     And the white fire of your own longing for purity

     Has reached the sky!

     Therefore I answer and I stand for the Purity and Victory of my bands on earth. For you are indeed my bands! And you count for the cosmic purpose of laying the white carpet for the ascending ones to meet, then, the Bridegroom "in the air," which is [to say] "in the consciousness of the Almighty" so present now universally upon earth. For the incense of prayer and the light, fervent light which rises from hearts, is as a garland, as fields of white-fire star flowers.

     Children of the Sun,

     Do not run when you hear the voice of God.

     For creation is and the Mother Flame burns on.

     And I have somewhat to tell you

     Concerning the Mother Light of earth.

     Therefore gather round and close to my heart, for I would infuse you. And I would release through you to the governments of the nations this fiery essence, this Light of the Advent¹ of the appearance of the Lord Christ in the very heart of the earth at this Christmastide.

     Elemental life rejoice in the coming of the Mother, Mary. They rejoice in the reenactment of the [birth of the] Lord Christ and in him [they know] the purity of the Bethlehem babe. Let holy innocence restore and renew, and let it also expose all that is unlike that essence of the heart-fire of purity.

     O legions of flame-flower fire of Light, legions of seraphim, come now in celebration not only of the birth of the Lord Jesus, but of the ascension of many souls! For it is the hour of consecration; it is the hour of dedication of hearts to our Inner Retreat, hearts going within to the heart of Sanat Kumara. It is the hour when Archangels would intensify in you this breath of prayer of the heart of the Universal Mother everywhere.

     Lanello, in the fullness of the poetry of God and of the love of angelic hosts, does embrace you. And the tangible Presence of that one as a saviour of hearts is truly converged in the heart of the Lord Christ [who is] in deep meditation and prayer for the world.

     There are saints who unite in heaven the world over this night, blessed hearts, [in] fervent prayer [for] the elevation of our youth, [for] the consummation of Love, [for] the coming together of people in the purest love of God that there might be the melting of the [base] elements² [of the human consciousness] by the Light of the Ruby Ray and the assembling of the components of the mighty pyramid of Life.

     Souls are entering and exiting the screen of life. One is taken, another is left;³ and a thousand and one, yea, ten thousand and one are marching to enter the portals of birth, to revivify the Light of the golden age, to manifest resurrection's flame.

     The expansive nature of Light, of Hope herself, is the unfolding of planetary flame flowers, everywhere white flowers in celebration of ascending currents of purity, descending Light, legions of Light who converge for a mighty victory and for the purge of economies of the nations of wavelengths of reality and unreality. For the white-fire snow and the crystal fire mist is come for the demagnetization of the four lower bodies of a planet and a people by the white fire of a mother's heart, by the white fire that intensifies out of the heart of the Mother, by the heart of Elohim!

     Therefore, in the name of Kuan Yin I announce to you and I dedicate the New Year's conference to the outpouring of the Seven Thunders of Elohim.⁴ Elohim of God have chosen to come forth! Blessed hearts of living fire, magnetized by the Mother, as Above, so below, it shall be The Class of Elohim. Understand the dispensation of the Light of Alpha and Omega whereby such manifestation might occur.

     Beloved hearts, it is for the turning of worlds, for the divine plan of Gautama Buddha, for the holding of the balance, for the empowerment of Messengers and chelas of the Light, for the stirring within, for the stirring without, and for the implanting of electrodes.

     I, Gabriel, Angel of [the] Annunciation, stand before you to announce in the manifestation of the Mother of [the] World, therefore, the manifestation of worlds of Elohim! worlds of Elohim! worlds of Elohim condensing and manifesting Light!

     Light in answer to the prayers of millions! Light in answer to the desire for salvation through the Universal Christ!

     [Light of] Elohim as the Seven Spirits of God, as the Seven Thunders, as the light rays, and as the focuses of twin flames in the very Light of the creation, lo, it is Alpha and Omega come seven times - seven hearts of living fire and seven hearts again!

     I come, then, with this annunciation that you might realize there is a part to be played; there is a role [for you to play on the stage of life]. And the role-playing of your lifestream is [through] the Light connecting rays from your heart, from the heart of Sirius, from the heart, then, of every focus of every Keeper of the Flame upon earth. For this dispensation does require your keeping of the flame of Life upon earth and the establishing of the matrix whereby these seven manifestations of the Almighty might speak their word and deliver their message.

     Souls of Light, therefore, I bid you keep the vigil of the Advent. Keep the vigil, then, of Christmas Eve and the celebration of the birth of your own Lanello. Keep the vigil of Christmas Day. And let hearts converge at Camelot and let the flow of Light be to the center. Let all tarry here and find in the holy family the laying of the foundation through winter solstice of the opening of the way of Elohim.

     Let souls of Light gather! Let all who will, come, then, as early as is feasible for their journeying and for the divine plan of the Christmas season. And let there be a vigil of the hours and rejoicing and caroling and the affirmation of the birth of the Cosmic Christ in every heart! Let it be for the divine conception of each soul fulfilled in his own Christic Light. Let it be for the conceptualization of the path of Victory and the path of the ascension!

     Beloved hearts, this year's turning is like a turning of right angles. It is like the turning of worlds and the turning at the nexus of the cosmic cross of white fire. There is an Energy and a Presence and a Person of Light to be welcomed, to be uplifted, to be received. It is the Person of the Word in the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood that would press down and in and among and through the people of this planetary home.

     For we have heard the prayers of saints. We have read the letters written to the Great Karmic Board. We have heard the call for dispensations of mercy. And as the Lord God Almighty looks upon the world scene there does appear that Darkness that must be swallowed up by Light. Let the Light, then, of the far-off worlds and of Bethlehem's star be a beacon light that pilgrims of Light might journey to this place for the affirmation of the Victory!

     The Karmic Board, in deliberation with the Lord of the World and the emissaries of heaven, the Four and Twenty Elders, have seen the great need for the turning of worlds, for the acceleration of Light, and for dispensations of Light. And the Elohim have responded, based upon the platform already built by the Seven Archangels, their Archeiai,⁵ and all of the chelas of the Light around the world who have participated in these dictations again and again. The mounting spiral of this activity and all things put together as hearts of Keepers of the Flame, does therefore warrant and has warranted the assent of Elohim.

     Therefore keep the Flame. And pray in the vigil of the hours for the protection of these releases, for the protection of the Messenger as their instrument, and for the protection of your lifestream as a pillar in the temple that the earth might be renewed, that the earth might be infilled, that an extraordinary Light might make the difference in all nations of the earth.

     The dispensation of the coming of Elohim is also laid by them [upon] the heart of beloved Saint Germain, that through their outpouring there might be an affirmative release to his call for the dedication and sponsorship of certain nations of the earth. Therefore Elohim, as a sign and vote of confidence of Saint Germain and Portia and of the anchoring of the age of Aquarius more firmly in physical octaves, have determined to manifest "the Magnet."

     It is a magnet for the drawing of the sons of God who must be cut free by the extraordinary Light of Elohim to come into the likeness of their own living Saviour, to come face to face with the Mighty I AM Presence, and to take their place on the path of the ascension and to come together for the building, the great building, then, of Solomon's Temple, the great building of the Inner Retreat, and the continuation of the service in the cities of the earth.

     By the Light of the Buddhas, by the Light of the Christed ones, by the rejoicing in the hearts of tiny children and babes in arm the world around, by the leaping in the mothers' wombs of children all over the world I, Gabriel, do affirm the coming of the Seven Spirits of God and the Seven Thunders! Let their voice be heard! Let their voice be heard! Let their voice be heard! For the hour of fulfillment is come when the world may hear the sound of Elohim.

     By the Light of Alpha and Omega let the world receive this impartation of the victory of the Flame! Let the world know that our God is here on earth as in heaven and that earth is not bereft of Saviour!

     Therefore with the Seven Archangels I implore and I impel now the descent, the intensification of the way of Elohim by the Light of the Mother Flame, by the Light of your hearts, by the spiral you have built within this temple.

     Elohim. [chanted]

     Out of the cosmic interval and into the void the soundless sound is heard. And the descending matrix of Elohim is meshed with earth in preparation for the building of star-fire flower flame, building and filling in the filigree latticework of a giant matrix of Light.

     By your prayer unto the Light and affirmation of the Word, I, Gabriel, bid you fill in this geometric design that envelops the earth within and without. Let it be filled with garlands upon garlands of white-fire flowers for the welcome of the coming of Elohim who intone the name of the Mother of the World. [intonations]

     Awake, O world, for the fullness of the time is come! I, Gabriel, have spoken from the heart of the Sun behind the sun.

     Adieu. And welcome to our heart of Elohim!

79.1  Archangel Gabriel - November 1981

     ... I am come tonight to charge into your consciousness the God-victorious essence of what it will mean to you to develop a specific momentum of spiritual consciousness. May I describe it to you? Beloved ones, the world today is oppressed by reason of the density of human thought and there is a form of pseudohope which mankind have, which defers till the morrow that which ought to be done today. And because this morrow does not come, the desires of their heart spiritually remain unfulfilled. Mankind are prone to think in terms of tomorrow, next week, next month, the coming year or a coming lifetime. And so they feel, complacently, as though there is no need for concern; for tomorrow they will manifest their God-victory.

     I do not wish to antagonize mankind. I do not wish to inject into their consciousness aught else but the holy flame of Truth. But I would like to point out to you that there is deceit in this form of consciousness and there is no need to wait for the morrow. Each day, beloved ones, you can if you will, chisel out in living light the perfection you desire to express in your forms. Each day, if you will, you may roll away the stone of materialism from before your consciousness and replace it by the risen Christ. ...

     I am come this night to bring to your blessed consciousness hope for the morrow that enfolds the present hour, for all tomorrows that ever shall be, and to see that the pain of [the] material senses is removed from your blessed consciousnesses by that divine grace which raised the living Christ from the pains of death and seated him upon the right hand [of God with the] scepter of authority. Beloved ones, your Mighty I AM Presence is the scepter of your authority! And as it takes dominion in your world you will find that your own victory is instantly assured. You may lay aside, then, all human fears and fold them up carefully as a garment. They need not be preserved. Let the sacred flame flash from your hand to transmute them instantly as in a puff of smoke into Light! And let them return to the universal; you do not require them. ...

     And as the tomb of materiality, which stands before the face of each of you as your own human creation and density, is rolled away and you see within that tomb the resurrected Christ of your own Holy Christ Self standing above you in the ethers, radiant with all the splendor of his glory, shining [with] the perfection of you, you will recognize that the face that you see in the mirror is not the real you at all and that the flesh that you wear can yield to the power of your Holy Christ Self as a piece of marble yielded to the hands of a Michelangelo. And you can find that you are established in perfection by your Holy Christ Selves, being chiseled by each blessed blow, which is the chastisement of God's love upon everyone whom he loves enough to chastise with his chisel of attention that he might produce here a living Christ in manifestation. ...

     May the peace of the Most High abide in your hearts, all ways. And in the cause of Saint Germain's freedom may you go forth to keep the torch held high in nobility and honor. The law of love never fails. ...

Volume 24, Number 3, footnote 9. During the Carter administration, the leaders of Western Europe began to chart a course increasingly independent of United States foreign policy. By the Venice Summit of June 1980, the U.S. seemed to have lost the position of dominance in the Western Alliance, with West Germany and France exerting greater leadership. (See "Carter's Impact on Europe," U.S. News and World Report, 7 July 1980, p. 16; "Fencing with the Soviets," Newsweek, 7 July 1980, p. 16.) One of the major areas of disagreement between U.S. and NATO leaders cropped up over the U.S. plan for economic sanctions against Iran. President Carter called for an embargo on April 7, 1980. Heads of state in NATO countries, particularly France and West Germany, were reticent to apply sanctions. The Carter administration threat to blockade Iran or to take direct military action persuaded the European Common Market nations to declare on April 22, 1980, that they would impose sanctions if no progress was made in the hostage negotiations by May 17, 1980. Then on May 22, 1980, 45 days after President Carter had made the public request for our allies to join the U.S. in imposing sanctions against Iran, Western European nations imposed a watered-down version of sanctions which, by one estimate, affected only 8 of Europe's $1.1 billion monthly trade with Iran. West Germany and France are major trading partners of Iran and had much to lose by the embargo. They were unwilling to jeopardize their own well-being and agreed to sanctions only under duress and with considerable misgivings. Volume 24, Number 6, footnote 4. Nikola Tesla (1856-1943), pioneer in electric power transmission and radio, discovered the rotating magnetic field - basis of most alternating-current machinery. According to one of his biographers, "when he was given the vision of the rotating magnetic field, there had come with it an illumination that revealed to him the whole cosmos, in its infinite variations as a symphony of alternating current. For him, the harmonies were played on a scale of electrical vibrations of a vast range in octaves. In one of the lower octaves was a single note, the 60-cycle-per-second alternating current, and on one of the highest octaves was visible light with its frequency of billions of cycles per second." In 1898, he announced his invention of a teleautomatic boat guided by remote control. In 1899-1900, he discovered terrestrial stationary waves, lighted 200 lamps without wires from a distance of 25 miles, and created man-made lightning. The technology of Nikola Tesla is applicable to weather modification, national defense, and geological exploration. According to Thomas Bearden, his research has enabled Soviets to draw power directly from the core of the earth to produce the effect of a "thermonuclear fireball" without detonating a nuclear weapon.

Volume 24, Number 12, footnote 23. Adolf Hitler, president of National Socialist German Workers' (Nazi) Party, 1921; chancellor of Germany, 1933; dictator and Führer, 1934. Hitler's "new order" included (1) inculcation of the view that Germans were the superior Aryan race; and (2) preservation of racial purity by extermination of Jews and other "inferior" peoples. Key members of the Nazi Party are said to have been part of an occult society known as the Thule Group. According to Trevor Ravenscroft, the inner circle within the Thule were Satanists who practiced black magic. Thule was the name of the center of a vanished civilization like Atlantis. Initiates of the Thule Group believed that Great Ones of the Ancient World would place at their disposal a reservoir of forces which could be drawn upon to enable Germany to dominate the world and become the cradle of a coming race of Supermen. German armies would set out to annihilate all that stood in the way of their "spiritual" destiny. Such was the myth upon which the Aryan doctrine was founded. In the mind of Hitler, it was a "magic" form of socialism. "Beyond any doubt, ... Hitler was possessed by forces outside himself-almost demoniacal forces of which the individual named Hitler was only the temporary vehicle," politician Hermann Rauschning reported. Heinrich Himmler organized Hitler's ruthlessly efficient SS (security echelon) not merely as a secret police force but as a religious order. High ranking SS officials were in charge of an unofficial Black Order. Their doctrine was based on belief in a force that surpassed ordinary human powers. Some say that the initiatory rite of SS cadets, the "ceremony of the Stifling Air," included the Satanic Black Mass; others interpret it as the moment when participants were overcome by complete stupor. Himmler's Gustapo was instrumental in Hitler's liquidation of 30 million "subhumans" - the total destruction of European Jewry, Polish intelligentsia, and a large slice of the Slavonic race. Although SS was a powerful political machine, the significance of the Black Order was purely "magical." Matter must be transformed to liberate the psychic energy capable of attracting superior unknown beings. Thus, concentration camps were a form of "magic." The gas ovens were merely ritual. It is said that the talismanic power behind the famed Spear of Longinus (the sacred spear which pierced the side of Christ) was the inspiration of Hitler's life and that the Führer's acquisition of the relic in 1938 was key to his rise to power. Hitler invaded Austria March 11, 1938. At Munich, September 30, 1938, France and Britain pressured Czechoslovakia to cede the Sudetenland. March 16, 1939, Nazi armies occupied Bohemia and Moravia. World War II began with Hitler's blitzkrieg (lightning war) invasion of Poland September 1, 1939; Norway and Denmark April 9, 1940; Belgium, France, Luxemburg, and the Netherlands May 10, 1940; the Soviet Union November 11, 1941. Volume 24, Number 12, footnote 24. The scientific basis for theories of a superrace proceeds largely from the work of Francis Galton (1822-1911), founder of the science of eugenics. He attempted to prove that the rich and powerful and the upper classes in general were a superior race because of superior genes. Poorer lower classes were presumed to be a genetically defective inferior race. Overbreeding of the "less suitable" was considered a threat to the "suitable" races. Galton called for programs of race hygiene (including the involuntary sterilization of members of the lower classes) to guarantee the purity of the superior race. Others who applied theories of a superior race include: Thomas Malthus, political economist, who fabricated "natural laws" as an authoritative rationale for low wages and long working hours; Herbert Spencer, founder of Social Darwinism, who believed that legislation improving working and housing conditions perverted the natural laws; Charles B. Davenport, leader of the politically powerful American eugenics movement; Harry H. Laughlin, superintendent Eugenics Record Office; Margaret Sanger, founder of the American birth control movement; Madison Grant, author of Passing of the Great Race; Lothrop Stoddar, Harvard-trained historian. Volume 24, Number 27, footnote 5. Refers to an experiment conducted at the New Year Assembly of the Brotherhood of the Royal Teton, December 31, 1930, attended by Godfre Ray King, Lotus, and their son. It was an experiment that had not been accomplished for over 70,000 years. The presiding master, Lanto, led brothers and sisters of the Royal Teton and their three guests in a meditation upon "the oneness of Venus with our earth." Twelve guests from Venus presently stood in their midst. The Tall Master stepped into the center of the audience chamber, where there was a large object covered with a golden cloth. The master then caused it to be uncovered, revealing three crystal caskets containing the sustained bodies of Godfre, Lotus, and their son from a previous incarnation. The master directed the three to take their places by the caskets. Godfre describes "a marvelous radiance" which "drew close around the bodies and ourselves." When the light diminished, the caskets were empty and they stood transformed in bodies "glowing with perfect health" resembling those of the visitors from Venus - sustained and purified by the Flame of Life. Volume 24, Number 27, footnote 20. On May 3, 1981, a regional conference of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, headed by former chancellor Willy Brandt (president Socialist International), called for the "immediate start" of arms control talks in which a "moratorium, limited in time, regarding the stationing of strategic weapons in Europe can be a reasonable part." The same weekend, Secretary of State Alexander M. Haig, Jr., met with NATO foreign ministers in Rome. Leaders pressed Haig to set an early date for resumption of talks with the Soviets on the reduction of European-based nuclear weapons. At a nuclear planning meeting in April, Defense Secretary Caspar W. Weinberger urged NATO allies to raise military spending and proceed with 1979 NATO policy to deploy American Pershing and cruise missiles in Europe. Weinberger pointed out that in 1970 the Soviets had outspent the U.S. 2-to-1 on strategic systems and is now outspending Washington by 3-to-1. "If moving from Cold War to détente is progress, let me say we cannot afford much more progress."

Volume 24, Number 31, footnote 6. Refers to William Holden Bell, 61, a former Hughes Aircraft engineer, and Marian W. Zacharski, 29, a suspected Polish intelligence officer, arrested on espionage charges June 28, 1981, in Los Angeles. According to the FBI, Bell and Zacharski were suspected of conspiring to pass information about military and space radar projects to Warsaw Pact countries, including the Soviet Union. After the arrest, Bell admitted delivering Asecret@ information to Polish agents, causing what one official termed a Avery serious@ breach in national security. On July 9, the two were indicted by a Los Angeles federal grand jury on 20 counts of conspiring to gather or deliver defense information to aid a foreign government. The episode is the latest in what officials reportedly call a concerted, Soviet-inspired effort to pirate military and technological secrets from U.S. industry. Earlier this year, Assistant U.S. Attorney Theodore Wu, conducting a federal grand-jury investigation in Los Angeles of technological espionage, said that Southern California and the technology-rich ASilicon Valley@ (Santa Clara County) are Athe cradles of the illegal and clandestine shipment of strategic goods to the Soviet Bloc.@ Thefts of sophisticated electronics equipment cost Silicon Valley companies alone about $20 million a year, according to industry sources. Volume 24, Number 35, footnote 5. On January 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 7-to-2 decision, issued two landmark abortion rulings in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, declaring the abortion laws of Texas and Georgia, respectively, unconstitutional and thereby overruling all state abortion laws that restricted or prohibited a woman's right to an abortion during the first three months of pregnancy. Virtually no state abortion law was left unaffected and most were rendered unconstitutional. The court ruled that "the unborn are not included within the definition of 'person' as used in the Fourteenth Amendment" and barred states from prohibiting abortion at least until the point of viability. Justice Harry A. Blackmun, delivering the majority opinion, defined viability as the time when the fetus is "potentially able to live outside the mother's womb, albeit with artificial aid." He further specified that "viability is usually placed at about seven months (28 weeks) but may occur earlier, even at 24 weeks." In a 6-to-3 decision, January 9, 1979, the Supreme Court in Colautti v. Franklin further limited the state's ability to restrict abortion by redefining "viability," leaving the decision of when a fetus might survive outside the womb to the judgment of the attending physician.

Volume 24, Number 38, footnote 4. Refers to "General Washington's Vision" at Valley Forge, 1777. In Washington's words: " ... As I was sitting at this table engaged in preparing a dispatch, something seemed to disturb me. Looking up, I beheld standing opposite me a singularly beautiful female. ... Presently I heard a voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn'. ... I beheld a dark, shadowy being, like an angel, standing, or rather floating in mid-air, between Europe and America, dipping water out of the ocean in the hollow of each hand, he sprinkled some upon America with his right hand, while with his left hand he cast some on Europe. ... Again, I heard the mysterious voice say, 'Son of the Republic, the end of the century cometh, look and learn'. ... I saw an ill-omened spectre approach our land. It flitted slowly over every town and city. ... The inhabitants presently set themselves in battle array against each other. As I continued looking I saw a bright angel, on whose brow rested a crown of light, on which was traced the word 'Union,' bearing the American flag which he placed between the divided nation, and said, 'Remember ye are brethren.' Instantly, the inhabitants, casting from them their weapons became friends once more, and united around the National Standard. ... The dark, shadowy angel placed a trumpet to his mouth, and blew three distinct blasts; and taking water from the ocean, he sprinkled it upon Europe, Asia and Africa. Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene: from each of these countries arose thick, black clouds that were soon joined into one. ... I saw hordes of armed men, who, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America, which country was enveloped in the volume of cloud. And I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country and burn the villages, towns and cities that I beheld springing up. ... The dark shadowy angel placed his trumpet once more to his mouth, and blew a long and fearful blast. Instantly a light as of a thousand suns shone down from above me, and pierced and broke into fragments the dark cloud which enveloped America. Volume 24, Number 45, footnote 3. Prior to this dictation, the messenger read a story telling of the miracle intercession of Kuan Yin that spared a life and spared the one who would have taken that life. In the midst of carrying out a plan to murder his "second mother" - whose cruelty her "son" believed had driven his first mother to her death and was now threatening his own marriage - an iron paralysis seized the son when his second mother intoned the simple prayer "Chiu-k'u-chiu-nan Pu-Sa lai!" (translated "Save-from-Suffering-Save-from-Harm Bodhisattva - come!"; pronounced `j( -) - kü - `j( -) - nän pü-`sä `l ) When he recovered, all thought of killing was shocked out of him forever. He thanked Kuan Yin on his knees for saving him from murder and recognized that his second mother's life had been spared by her conviction of the compassionate Bodhisattva's desire to save every sentient being. Following the reading, the messenger gave Kuan Yin's additional teaching on the story that perhaps it was also the mercy of Kuan Yin to spare the son from the fate of karmic entanglement with a fallen one, "showing him how much compassion he would have to give her in a future life should he have murdered her. ... Thus we see that the call from Kuan Yin for the balance of such a crime would have required the individual to walk the Path and serve that one whom he had annihilated until he should have gained the attainment to release the power to save her, to protect her, and to heal her." Volume 24, Number 57, footnote 2. Tape recordings containing subliminal messages and utilizing auto-hypnosis techniques as well as other forms of programming of the subconscious mind have become the latest fad in consciousness development. Promoted as self-help tapes to assist individuals in overcoming bad habits, removing blocks to success and riches, and developing self-confidence, these cassettes include lectures, guided meditations, affirmations, and subliminal messages embedded into background music or nature sounds. On January 1, 1988, beloved Omri-Tas said in his dictation: "The violet flame truly allows you to perform, as it were, a cosmic surgery - and this is never by a momentum that may be fed into the subconscious by all of the popular tape recordings that are available to you as to how you can become a better person and overcome procrastination and all manner of burdensome addictions. Blessed hearts, these tapes are for those who are computerized and do not have a threefold flame. They are for those who have merely a human personality that has built upon itself incarnation after incarnation without integration with any flame or Spirit of God. ... Blessed ones, anything that comes from the human level, no matter how positive the statements are, does always embody the entire karma, electronic belt and subconscious of the individual through whom it has come" (1988 PoW, pp. 25, 26). Only through invoking the Light of your Mighty I AM Presence to work transmutation by conscious free will with the soul fully engaged as the alchemist in your temple, the conscious collaborator with the Will of God, can you balance your karma and make your ascension. People who promote the use of the subconscious in self-programming are either ignorant of the laws of God ("Father, forgive them for they know not what they do,") or they have not bent the knee to the Universal Christ, to their Holy Christ Self or to the Great Law. The latter want human attainment and human happiness without allegiance to the I AM Presence. Circumventing, they think, the Guru-chela relationship, they would also bypass all accountability for their karma. Those who follow them are of the school of Atlantean mentalists who seek to develop the mind for the control of self and other selves and for the control of circumstances without the necessity of obedience to cosmic principle. When human power is thus acquired without true Christ-Self mastery, its use or abuse is subject to the righteousness of man and not the righteousness of God. When, pray tell, does this power misused become the practice of witchcraft or black magic? When the individual crosses the line because his standard is "the ends justify the means" he himself may not know it, for he has never felt the necessity to submit his comings and his goings to The Lord Our Righteousness (Jer. 23:6). Furthermore the gains of such subconscious programming are illusory because sooner or later in this life or in many future lives the individual must consciously stand, face, and conquer his karma. This karma is not transmuted by these tapes. But the karma is the root of the problems he suppresses through the use of such tapes. Thus when the problems and the karma return, he must finally begin the true path of discipleship. In conclusion, these tapes are a dangerous procrastination on the path of reunion with God. They create the illusion of self-mastery and prosperity while the carnal mind through the subconscious weaves a tangled web around the soul. They are auto-hypnosis, verily the carnal mind's deception of the soul to postpone her true Christ victory in the Light on the path of individual overcoming as outlined in the Teachings of the Great White Brotherhood.

Volume 24, Number 66, footnote 1. Arthur's prophecy on the quest of the Holy Grail. According to legend, each year at the feast of Pentecost the knights of the Round Table returned to Camelot and rendered to the king and queen the reports of their deeds during the year. One Pentecost as the knights were gathered at the Round Table they saw a vision of the Holy Grail "so filled with glorious light that none might behold it." Sir Gawain and many of the others made the vow never to return again to the court until they had seen the Holy Grail more openly. Alfred Lord Tennyson in Idylls of the King records that upon hearing their vow King Arthur cried, "Woe is me, my knights! ... Go, since your vows are sacred, being made. Yet - for ye know the cries of all my realm pass thro' this hall - how often, O my knights, your places being vacant at my side, this chance of noble deeds will come and go unchallenged, while ye follow wandering fires lost in the quagmire! Many of you, yea most, return no more." Of the 150 knights of the Round Table who went forth to quest the Grail, only four saw it - Galahad, Percival, Bors, and Lancelot.

Volume 24, Number 68, footnote 1. The blossoming staff is prominent in the biblical story of Joseph's betrothal to the Virgin Mary and in the legend of the journey of Joseph of Arimathea to Glastonbury. According to St. Matthew's apocryphal Gospel of the Birth of Mary, when Mary became of marriageable age the high priest summoned all unmarried men of the house of David to bring their staffs to the altar. For the Lord had revealed to him that "out of whatsoever person's rod ... a flower should bud forth, and on the top of it the Spirit of the Lord should sit in the appearance of a dove, he should be the man to whom the Virgin should be given." Joseph, being advanced in years, drew back his staff. When no sign appeared the high priest consulted God, who said that Mary was to be betrothed to the man whose staff was not presented. When Joseph brought forth his staff a dove alighted on it and, according to other accounts, it blossomed with flowers and leaves. One legend of the blossoming staff relates that upon the arrival of Joseph of Arimathea at Glastonbury he thrust his staff into the ground, perhaps to signify he had reached the end of his long journey. The staff burst forth as an instantly flowering thorn tree - which endures today as the only thorn tree in the world to bloom in December and again in May.
