Even so, the first shall be last and the last shall be first.1
What shall I say when I come to initiate the staff of the Lord in God's holy will and some are ready and some are not?
"How shall we make them ready, O Lord?" is the cry of the Messenger unto me.
Therefore I AM come, initiator of God's will within you, that you might enter in to a conscious collaboration with Lord Maitreya for the salvation of your soul! Conscious collaborators of God's holy will, this is the sort of chelas with whom we work and with whom the Lord Sanat Kumara is well pleased.
How can we raise up anyone to excellence of heart except that one first be self-raised by the pursuit of our offering, page upon page of Pearls of Wisdom written not only in weekly distribution but writ as Holy Writ in the very fire of the heart?
Blessed ones, the elevation of an individual by programming - by any [automated] means of [the] infusion [of one individual] with another's potential2 - is not lawful. For to do so is merely to create an automaton to God's will, perhaps an electrical adjunct, much as the machine offers freedom from drudgery. But we of the Darjeeling Council are not interested in having [such mechanized] adjuncts to our service, for we do not conceive of ourselves as engaged in drudgery and therefore requiring freedom from drudgery through the creation of synthetic chelas.
Understand me well! We have at our disposal all of the science of the Matter universe to do so whether by spiritual or chemical means. We know intimately the science of the body, the brain, the central nervous system, and the chakras that span the dimensions of life. We are well acquainted with the altering techniques of geneticists. We are well acquainted with the use of chemicals to achieve grandiose results. But, blessed ones, our way is the way of the means, the means that will only justify [and be justified by] the end of the ascension in the Light and the end which itself must find [the conscious exercise of free will and God-]justice [to be the only acceptable standard as] the means of attainment.
Therefore, what shall I say when we find some who are ready and some who are not for the increase of the will of God - some who have applied with all diligence the daily stripping of consciousness of all that is unlike the living Word within, some who have allowed themselves to become supersensitive and bathed in the violet flame, who are fierce warriors in denouncing the fallen ones [side by side with] others [who] have allowed themselves to be self-indulgent and mechanical, robot-like in their pursuit of the Word?
It is the easy way to program one's own being in remote control, to exit the temple while the body repeats the holy prayers - no longer holy because [they are] not endowed with the fervor of holiness. Blessed hearts, do not become weary in striving. Do not be weary to enter the basements and subbasements of life and to take responsibility for your own karma which is exposed from the near and distant past.
When you love, and I pray that you will fear not to love yourself, when you love truly as God loves, it is not a love of self-indulgence. It is a love of utter compassion whereby you recognize the availability, the accessibility of the rays of God [which enable you] to enter more and more into the consciousness of your own Mighty I AM Presence. It does require that striving for holy purpose! It does require intensity and the keeping of the vigil.
Thus, we arrive at a crossroads in Community wherein some who have been here long take for granted that their manifestation is acceptable unto the Lord. Yet even Jesus Christ in his final incarnation strove daily to determine that that daily offering would be renewed by the Holy Spirit, by his heart, and would be acceptable in the sight of the Lord God. He never took for granted from day unto day that the measure of Light [he outpictured] was automatically accepted [simply] because he was called to his mission [or he was who he was].
Automation is a way of life upon earth. It is enhanced by synthetically created rays and vibrations, many of them directed by malevolent forces. [As you are] acquainted with the conspiracy of the Nephilim, I am certain that it will take little for your minds to discover that they have also found ways of holding back the bursting of creativity in the minds of the children of God by [the] mere alteration of brain waves, [by setting up or using certain existing] magnetic forcefields upon the planetary body, [and] even the alteration of climate calculated to keep the consciousness subdued and to drive wedges between the soul's experience and its union with the inner Christ.
Supremely threatened are the fallen ones in this hour and therefore they stop at nothing to keep the population of the nations of the earth in control, in ignorance, and divided. And they are very determined to put down the true prophets abroad in the land and the true teachings of the Ascended Masters.
Therefore, understand the vigilance that is required. Understand that the battle is to the strong and not unto those who would indulge in a mechanized attitude toward the path of the ascension. I give to you a sense of co-measurement as to what it means to be a conscious collaborator with the will of God, with the will of Maitreya, with all of us who are assembled in Darjeeling out of concern for the outcome of [the testing of] the souls of Light upon earth.
Let there be, then, a greater diligence - not a brittleness, not a flagellation of the self but an aliveness, a quickened consciousness. Eliminate self-concern and plunge into the very center of God's will! Allow yourself to accelerate. Allow yourself to contact the Mind of God!
There is a very delicate balance in this hour between each chela of my own flame and myself, between every disciple of the Lord and the Ascended Masters and his own Mighty I AM Presence. We dare not enter to push or accelerate consciousness without the mutuality of striving, without your own sensitivity that there is another rung that is ready for you. There are angels waiting but you must climb the ladder.
Thus, those whom you would least expect to be ready for our Light are well prepared and those who have taken for granted their position vis-a-vis our bands come with empty hands, for they have forgot the fruit of striving. Let us not gather together out of habit or rote. Let us come to the altar with rejoicing as if for the first time. Let us come with expectancy of miracles and the realization that heaven and earth are one!
The more you understand of fallen man and fallen woman, the more you realize that the light of Reality within you has never fallen and that you are strangers tarrying here in a dusty land with the dust of the ages upon your garments. It is time we move on. It is time we open our eyes in the assessment of world conditions. It is time we placed maximum emphasis upon our own avatara[ - as the descent of God into our temples by the day-to-day exercise of the conscious freewill choice: to be or not to be God incarnate].
You can become the Word incarnate but not by self-depreciation nor by self-elevation but by the emergence of the soul who will merge with God-Reality. In order to merge with your own God consciousness, your life, your ability must be at that level of vibration whereby your frequencies and God's frequencies can meet and be as one.
Thus I come always and always at the individual level. I come with a ray from my heart that I now send to every chela of El Morya. My own Diamond Heart multiplied by the Diamond Heart of Mother Mary touches your heart and if your heart is found in readiness, so be it. The devas minister and an increment of fire is added to the blue plume of your own threefold flame simultaneously as it compels the rising of wisdom and love in perfect balance to that will. For the will of God is good! And the will of God is known by wisdom and by love.
Therefore all who are ready are accelerated and all who are not must prepare for my coming again. Diligence in discipleship: the rewards are manifold - manifold experience with the living Word.
Is there anything that you would exchange for (or rather have than) the feeling of our Presence in your heart, the feeling of God as a love fire that bursts forth and fills you with a most magnificent joy?
For your heart to be ready for the sendings of Sirius this, this too requires diligence in the way of perfect Love. But when we come to knock and the Guru of your heart enters in, is this not the supreme experience of life? I ask you, precious hearts. ["Yes!"]
How easy it is to forget and to think that outer activities or entertainments or pleasures and pursuits can somehow compare [to] or even be on an equal footing [with receiving and being received by the Guru of your heart].
How easy it is to come to the place where for the purpose of balance, as they say, all these other things ought to be considered equally with the pursuit of God!
Yet the saints have always known that it is not so. The worldly will not tell you to leave off the path of religion but only to keep it in its proper place. What is its proper place according to their standard and according to our own?
Religion binding the soul unto God3 is the supreme reason for being unto those who have become weary of a world of maya and who recognize that all experience is but for the mastery of the soul. For the only thing that your soul may store and take with you when you depart for other octaves is that self-mastery gleaned from the experience[s of life]. You cannot even take the experience, let alone the silver and gold or the possessions of life. Brief memories; but the essence, the essence of the fruit of life is self-mastery.
Weigh, then, the activities of your life. Are you increasing in self-mastery within and without both physically, mentally, and spiritually by [your] pursuit [of it] day by day? And is the increase [of your self-mastery] for the [sake of the] grace of God and by his grace [which you offer] as a gift upon the altar?
Priorities in the pursuit of life. And the net gain is the Deathless Solar Body. It is a white-fire body. It is a vehicle of consciousness. It counts for more than all of the mechanization and the advanced scientific discovery; yet these too may become, and in some must become, the instrument for sainthood and even for the path of self-mastery.
Let all listen to the dictates of the heart, for the heart will inform you of danger. The heart will inform you of disturbing vibrations whose source may be the mechanization vibrations of alternative rays both from this planetary body and beyond. The heart will tell you when you need more Light, when you need to increase by a determined fiat that portion which is at your command. The aura must be charged and supercharged that the soul might be free from psychic, [psychotronic,] and psychedelic interference.
Blessed hearts of Light, this [Light which you need on the instant] may often come to you more quickly and intensely with fiery fiats to my heart than long hours of repetition. And yet, when the repetition is necessary and given with the full fire of the heart, then your call will result in a mantle of protection to the entire Community of Lightbearers worldwide.
Listen well, then, for I AM El Morya of the First Ray! I do not choose to unfold to you all that I know in this hour, all that I know of what is manifesting and what is coming into manifestation upon the earth. But I choose to come to encourage, to warn, to inspire, to assure and to reassure [you] that your path with the Ascended Masters is secure only when you make it so day by day.
And this is the illusion that is put upon you, that it does not matter and that somehow by the collective consciousness of the group you will also be swept up in the magnificent reunion with the living Christ.
Blessed hearts, simply because you are in the same place physically or in the same class or the same grade or the same year of service does not assure that you are at the same point of attainment. There is such diversity of acceleration of Light4 within those who are gathered here that you would be astounded to see the spectrum from the least unto the greatest, yet all are devotees [or presume to be] of the Great White Brotherhood and of their own Mighty I AM Presence.
Thus, let there be individuality and individual striving! Let there not be comfortability in the blessedness and the holiness of the saints who pray without ceasing, but let all assess his own momentum in climbing up the rope to the highest vibrations of the Mighty I AM Presence.
For all must stand alone in the hour of the ascension. All must stand one with the Mighty I AM Presence. And, my beloved, this takes practice. It takes daily exercise. This takes practice.
