Each day we see, we see the paths that begin in the center and that diverge - the path of those who take the teachings for enjoyment, personal enjoyment and satisfaction, and the path of those who take the teachings for service to God and to humanity. All the difference of worlds between the two, all the difference of the shining ones, all the difference of the spectrum from one end of a cosmos to another - that is the separation of these two paths.
Yet those who have taken the one path of having the teaching for personal enjoyment do not know, in many cases, that they are not acting as servants of the Most High. They take perhaps a little service here and there, a little wetting of the toe or the finger to be the real thing, to be the total immersion, the total baptism of the body and the soul, the mind and heart by the waters - the purple and gold flowing - the waters of service.
Let us consider then the path of service, what it offers the soul: a day-to-day balancing of karma, therefore it is called karma yoga; a day-to-day devotion to the flame of Life in the heart of humanity, therefore it is called bhakti yoga; a day-to-day studying, a studying of the teachings, a becoming of the teachings, the infusion of the self with that enlightenment of the Buddha, therefore service is called jnana yoga. Therefore it is the mastery of the lower bodies - of the mental body, the feeling body, and the physical body - through these three ways of yoga, all of this on the path of service, all of this self-contained in the wholeness of the sphere.
Then comes the royal road, the royal path through integration, through the eighth ray that is called raja yoga. And so it is that service is the fulfillment of this path as well, for in service there is integration with the Great White Brotherhood, there is integration with the I AM Presence, there is integration with all of life.
See then that in service - as the mistress of life and the mistress of the energies of life - there is the way for the God-mastery of the four lower bodies, there is the way for the balancing of the karma, there is the way for the fulfillment of one's duty to become God, and there is the absorption of the self into the Higher Self. See, then, that those who would keep the flame of life keep the flame of the sixth ray, the flame of the Elohim of Peace, Peace and Aloha.
Understand, then, that I do not stand before you making a speech like your politicians for a certain thing that I desire to have passed through Congress or passed through your midst and accepted. I am not pleading for an opinion, for whimsy, for something temporary, nor do I stand in the marketplace of life selling my wares and shouting out the merits of this commodity. I stand before you the observer of thousands and thousands of years, years marked by the marching of the pilgrims who are carrying the votive light and the candle of their devotion.
And the marking of this time and space is by the walk of the pilgrims of the flame. See them marching over the vastness of a cosmos. By their steps is the counting of hundreds of thousands of years, and by their steps is the marking in time and space of the flow of the energies of service to life.
I come, then, I come to bid you welcome to the path of initiation for the new year. And I am sustaining my dictation and my fiery forcefield within your midst for the very, very sacred purpose of the transfer of my Self to your Self. And even the duration of this conference is that we might tarry an extra day together in the tent of our God absorbing one another's light and love; for as you absorb the presence of the ascended masters, so we take into ourselves your souls, your four lower bodies, and you live within us for this period of our communion. And then when you make your way from the tent, you find impressed upon you very delicate forcefields and momentums of the very inner computer of life, energy fields and the release of patterns that are for the enhancement of the path of the ascension.
I AM Saint Germain, and I do come with a great love in my heart. I come for the setting of the cycle of the year, for the fulfillment, then, of the Omega spiral of the two-hundredth anniversary of the United States of America. This half, then, of that year begun July 4, 1976 must be the period when you confirm in Matter what has been given forth in Spirit.
This half of the year will be for the acceleration of the publishing of the Word, and to that end I give a dispensation from my heart to all those who are making possible the publication of the Word - from the printers and the typesetters to the artists, to the messenger, to every Keeper of the Flame in the field who is keeping that flame, waiting and attending each birth of the Christ consciousness in each one of our books which goes forth as the manna to the children of Israel.
I give a special dispensation to all of you and to souls of light in the planetary body who will ratify the flame of freedom in the coming six-month period and who will ratify that flame on behalf of the Mother and her children. Call to me, and I will increase your portion daily. Call to me, and I will increase your strength and your light and your love. Call to me, and we will complete the cycle of victory.
Understand that outside of Keepers of the Flame, the people of America do not realize that this year of the bicentennial has this period of the Omega fulfillment cycle, that it must be accomplished and fulfilled victoriously in order to set the pattern for the next one-hundred-year cycle. And therefore, many have forgotten the celebration, thinking only of a certain day and not of the entire year, and especially letting down the guard now that the cycles have turned and they are busy thinking about what they will do in business and in school and in life and in general in the coming months.
Let the fervor of patriotism and of freedom and of Godfre be sustained. Let it be sustained by the playing of the dictations and the lectures from Higher Consciousness. And let it be sustained also as you choose to read and to reread the "Admonishments of the Seven Archangels," now published for your convenience in the paperback form. Will you read these dictations of the seven archangels and their archeiai with the following in mind:
Will you take each of the releases on each of the seven rays, the release of Alpha and of Omega through the archangels, and will you make for yourselves a notebook listing, then, those conditions that are pointed out by these emissaries of God that are the reason for the coming of the judgment - in other words, mankind's misuses and misqualifications of the light of the seven rays?
Then will you watch? Keeping watch on the wall of the Lord,9 will you watch the human consciousness, watch all that transpires in America and in every nation, and add to the list those conditions manifesting on earth this day which are also a perversion of the seven rays, a perversion that has not been specifically listed by the archangels and the archeiai?
Will you, then, do this after the pattern that has been taught to you by our messenger this day? Will you take both the recordings of the emissaries of the Brotherhood in these Pearls of Wisdom as well as your own deliberations with the Christ mind, your Christ Self, and the Cosmic Christ; will you combine these two, then, in your own individual and specific invocations for the redemption of the light of the seven rays? ["Yes!"]
This, then, is the call from the Seven Holy Kumaras and the Ancient of Days,10 for the Seven Holy Kumaras have come forth to sponsor the seven chohans and the seven archangels and to sponsor the chelas serving under the seven chohans of the rays. They have come forth, then, with their light. It is a quickening fire, it is a sacred fire, it is the increment of the Lord Christ to enable you to be stabilized in a greater intensity of light that you might confirm the judgment where you are.
In order to confirm that judgment, you must read those Pearls and you must say, "In the name of the Christ, in the name of the I AM Presence, I do ratify the judgment of the Lord God through the seven archangels this day - through beloved Lord Michael, beloved Jophiel, beloved Chamuel, beloved Gabriel, beloved Raphael, beloved Uriel, and beloved Zadkiel."
As you confirm that judgment, as you ratify it, so will the cycles roll through you - from the archangels the energy to sustain the feeling of God, from Sanat Kumara and the Seven Holy Kumaras the sacred fire to sustain the memory of the Ancient of Days and that memory of the judgment and that memory of the original blueprint of life to which the judgment will turn every living soul on Terra, then the chohans and the Great Divine Director to sustain the mental concepts, and finally the mighty Elohim and your own blessed I AM Presence to enable you to ratify it in a very physical, practical way for the changing of physical conditions on earth.
You, then, who are our students at inner planes in the retreats and those of you who have attended Summit University, to you I give this assignment. It is a very real assignment. And, blessed ones, after all, I too must have some way to test your souls, some way to see if truly you will answer a little request that I make.
And so I tell you in advance and I do not conceal from you that your fulfillment of this request will tell me many things. It will tell me if your heart and your determination can be focalized through all of your chakras and that you can bring the full forces of your being to bear upon conditions and that your appreciation of the ascended masters is not only in the period of dictations, but will also be in that period when you have to work and work hard to manifest the attunement and the necessary action of the Law.
I will also tell you in advance that I am not the only one who will be watching to see how you complete this request. The Holy Kumaras, the chohans, the archangels, and the Elohim, the Great Divine Director will also be watching, for we are drawing into our mandala those who would be made knights and ladies of the flame.
We would return, then, to the knighting ceremony. We would call you forth after a certain period of training and soul purging and soul disciplining. We would call you forth to be knighted and to receive that title of Knight of the Flame and Lady of the Flame. But we must prepare you for that day and that manifestation, and one of the preparations which you must have is the willingness to respond and to be disciplined and to answer me in a certain request.
Well, I do realize that many of you understand this and that without my explanation you would leap to fulfill my request. But then again there are some who will hear the request and then by and by forget it, set it aside, and not keep it, and therefore be deprived of the blessing. And therefore, as you are close to my heart and my very own chelas, I oblige you by telling you who will be looking over your shoulder in the year to come.
Now, beloved ones, it is my great joy to commune with you and to talk with you, and I would stay and stay another hour. But I will conclude my address so that you can absorb that which I have given to you and so that you may prepare yourself for the next step of the acceleration of consciousness being brought to you by beloved Maximus and his legions of the Great Central Sun.
Understand, then, that it was necessary for me to come this evening prior to his dictation and it was necessary for you to keep the vigil of the flame. For from the beginning of the evening unto this moment, your souls and your chakras have passed through many gradations of acceleration, point by point, little by little, until even you do not realize how exalted your consciousness is in this moment and how you have been peaked to that attunement that now enables you to receive the maximum energies of beloved Maximus.
Will you not then continue your meditation and your attunement as I prepare with the messenger for the coming of this blessed being from the Great Central Sun who speaks his inaugural address to earth's evolutions this day?
In the name of the Madonna and Child, in the name of the magnificent flame of selflessness which you carry, I stand before you, your Knight Commander, and I salute you in the cross of Malta!
