How fortunate it would be for the world if they only understood the law of correspondences! How fortunate if mankind understood the law of accumulation! For just as the trees grow a new ring each year, so according to the law of accumulation the vibratory actions of each individual - his thoughts, his feelings, his words and deeds - accumulate year after year the corresponding energy patterns until they become mighty tides of momentum.
When these momentums, held within the subconscious recesses of being, correspond with other more current momentums of like vibratory rate which appear on the surface of the individual's world, there is produced a powerful activity, for good or for ill, that may influence not only the individual's life, but also the lives of many. Through correspondences and affinities, individuals quite frequently tune in on the negative as well as the positive patterns which they have attribute their problems to others, when in reality the cause can be traced directly to their own previous momentums.
If they will make it a habit to daily use the violet transmuting flame and then call to me, asking that the patterns of negation that have accumulated in their world and that hinder them from expressing their true spirituality be dissolved, they will find that the change from glory to glory comes about swiftly. And if they will ask that they be cut free from these patterns and from the patterns of others as well so that they will neither influence others nor be influenced by them, they will experience a new feeling of freedom they have not known before.
I cannot deny that the brothers of the shadow deliberately manipulate people's attractions and repulsions in order to create between them what one might call psychic pushes and pulls. This tactic is employed to interfere with the natural flow of divine love between friends and family members. And I would alert the students to the fact that the forces of darkness take every advantage to ride in on the qualities of negation which individuals allow to express in their lives.
I cannot say enough, then, to warn the students of the Light not to feel smug or as though they were immune to undesirable conditions or states of consciousness. After all, beloved ones, in all divine justice mankind should be aware that they have created all sorts of discordant patterns that have wreaked much havoc upon humanity and in turn they have been subjected to those of like ilk that have been created by others.
It is not really the will of God that conditions of division, hardness of heart, and imbalance in the expression of the Christ-potential should continue to exist; and yet stop for a moment and consider how embodied humanity would feel if every negative factor which they have created and fed by their attention were to be immediately consigned to cosmic flames. It would be as though someone were to develop and then burn their choice photographs. Then some would say, "This is all I have; it represents myself."
Beloved hearts of Light, this is a matter of self-deception. Far better that individuals were to call for the total destruction of undesirable patterns and be free to build as a little child in the kingdom of heaven than to perpetuate unwanted qualities simply because "it is all that they have."
There are so many magnificent patterns that can be called forth by your prayers, your decree patterns, your rosaries, your spiritual meditations, and your love which you desire to express to God, to the saints, or even to one another. When it is pure and holy, this love is of immortal substance and will only continue hour after hour, year after year, century after century, forever to improve in quality because it is of the new wine which ever matures into greater loveliness.
The boundaries of mankind's understanding frequently do not include the simple manifestations of truth that mean so much to the devotee. It is our wish this year to see the students of the Light become wiser in the generation of Light. And this will in no way affect the statement of beloved Jesus "The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of Light."1 For he spoke this long ago; and even when he spoke it, it was his desire to see it reversed that the children of the Light might embody that great spiritual gnosis of unfolding cosmic glory which will ultimately give them their freedom in the ritual of the ascension.
I am Astrea. How often do I see individuals caught in the net of psychic glamor. They think because they are in touch with unknown beings or unknown worlds - or so they often suppose - that this should in some way distinguish them or set them apart from other men. They do not realize the great responsibility which they should feel and know in their desire to guide others over the pathway of life. Far better that individuals remain tethered to the simplest God-ideas and be accurate than that they should enter into profundities which, although they suppose them to be great truths, are in reality a basic misalignment of the Law.
In order to reduce the most profound matters to a simply understood form, I wish to say that much of that which is labeled psychic energy is but a mass accumulation of the human consciousness, consisting of the energy of God that has been misqualified and reworked through the millenniums. This accumulation has constantly been fed by mankind's attention which has sustained momentums of ancestral hatred, traditional wars, and the perpetuation of man-made dogma void of the Spirit. Now the time has come when individuals must feel no sense of loss in the burning of old records and accumulations which are wedded to darkness and can never produce so much as an ounce of happiness for any part of Life.
I would like to have the students understand what a very marvelous thing they are doing when they call upon the violet transmuting flame, when they commit the keeping of their lives unto God and do not constantly seek to preserve cause, effect, record, or memory of that which has brought about so much distress to mankind in the outer realm.
It is never necessary or expedient that the records of the human personality should be preserved to the hurt of the beautiful patterns of the soul. Instead, let mankind learn the difference between psychic energy and spiritual reality. Spiritual reality is self-perpetuating and will continue to feed the soul those nourishing elements of God-reality upon which is builded the kingdom of heaven. Psychic energy, having its origin in human personalities, no matter how magnificent those personalities may appear to be, is always a focus of human destruction because it seeks to enlargen the sphere of influence of the human ego in one or more individuals at the expense of the Divine Ego in all.
There is nothing in the Great Law that justifies the enhancement of mortal life to the detriment of immortal values. But wherever the glory of God is served, it always serves to perpetuate in the soul of man the fragrant blossoms of Reality as benign, sustaining momentums that will unify and bless every part of Life as a part of the eternal kingdom.
