The Elect Still Pursue the Upward Climb

Savants of the Will of God:

The belt of time has steadily moved from the beginning as the passion of the Light for the expression of itself. The chips of darkness hewn from the Tree of Life by vulgar men have, time and time again, obliterated the radiant view of perfection, but they have not stopped the spiritual evolution of men. While millions move as the restless tide of the masses, the elect still pursue the upward climb.

The resurrection flame becomes the fohat of invincibility in the mind and heart of the elect; still, others court vain pleasures. The compensation of the spiritual Path must be understood. The words, "verily, they have their reward," remain the Master's succinct utterance regarding the tone of life when it is linked entirely to the whimsy of the human will.1

Men sometimes say they do not choose, but are moved by "powers greater than themselves." Let it be understood that when they are moved by these "powers" to do that which they ought not to do, it is because they have first consented in little things to engage in acts of perfidy against the reality of the eternal Truth. By deviation men are moved, and by devotion men are also moved.

The path of spiritual devotion may be strewn with thorns, but one does not gather thorns and thistles. The wise man goeth to the cobbler and is properly shod. And so we speak of the gift of preparation for spiritual adventure. Men go into the world well-prepared for high adventure. Let them also gather spiritual treasure and consider the need to make preparation.

Now we come to the problem of communication between the planes. The scriptures cry out against necromancy, and wise are they who heed their warning. Let men understand the continuity of Life and the value of spiritual attainment. Men ask for the flame of the resurrection. They are wise. They ask for spiritual power, and spiritual power is given them. They merit greater spiritual power, and their merit is heard by the Karmic Lords as a request for cosmic action. But the question of communion with higher spheres and the continuity of life after death, so-called, remains a common problem. We shall stress spiritual attainment.2

The word of the Lord to the Revelator, "He that is holy, let him be holy still and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still," applies to those who pass through the gateway between worlds. Let it be understood that unless one has first mastered the use of energy in the physical plane, one does not attain in the spiritual planes that progress which can be counted as obedience to the will of God or the attainment of proficiency in the Divine Nature.3

The question has been asked why some of us choose to work with the evolutions of Earth and why some who have attained to the ascended state do not compile those magnificent utterances which glorify the Supreme Spirit.

First of all, let it be understood that there are evolutions upon the planet who are not of this world, but of another; and there are also evolutions on the planet who, while spiritually holding fast to divine ideals, do not have that mental development which would enable them to draw the balance of the Christed Self into manifestation. The problem of the various life waves upon the planet is a factor which determines who from our octave shall come forth to serve and who among us shall remain in the Great Silence or active in other sectors of cosmos.

Although individuals do not draw forth while in embodiment the victorious manifestations of self-mastery that marked the life of Jesus and other avatars, they may still earn their ascension by balancing fifty-one percent of their karma; yet this will not automatically give them those virtues which they have not attained. However, the availability remains; and they have the opportunity after the ascension to increase their momentum of both virtue and attainment. And so every star that is born of God does not necessarily exhibit the same magnitude. Every soul does not manifest the same attainment, "for one star differeth from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead."4

Then there are those of us who hold spiritual office by reason of our spiritual initiation. We have no pride in this but only devotion to the purposes of God; therefore, we were especially chosen, and this is the meaning of the Chohan of the Ray5 - those who are chosen of the Rays of Divine Will, Wisdom and Love, of Purity, Truth, Devotion and Freedom, to act as guardian spirits to teach mankind the Way, preventing, when possible, their betrayal of those ideals that when espoused will provide the opportunity for the greatest attainment.

I must take my stand for the banner of the rule of attainment. Let those who study to show themselves approved unto God be considered as those who hold the Divine Wisdom to be a thing of worth. When men seek after phenomena or exhibitions of the fires of another, let them realize that the inward attainment is the measure of a man.6

When I speak of the power of the Spirit of the Resurrection Flame, I include its power to resurrect the attainment of the soul garnered in all past ages. It is necessary that you call for the resurrection of your own momentums of self-mastery; for the spiritual business of mastership has sometimes gone lagging insofar as the evolutions of Earth are concerned. We wait to see those who will attain proficiency in body, mind and spirit - who will understand the need to serve and to be prepared; for there is a mighty work to be done in the name of the Lord by those who know the meaning of discipline and sacrifice.

We intend that our forthcoming university in the world of form will be a noble beginning for a quickening in the souls of men, a fiery realization that life is more than just an amusement game, that it is a transcendent experience of climbing the stairways of opportunity. Wise is the man or woman who prepares for proficiency in the divine art. And let this also be understood: man can do many things simultaneously; he can cast out unwanted darkness while drawing into himself those treasures of wanted Light that create new dimensions and new resurrections.

Why, I almost feel like exclaiming at the very top of my lungs: What glorious opportunities are given the soul that opens the doorway to the understanding of itself! When we say man can become God, do we desecrate God? The highest form of valor is the imitation of perfection. He who imitates The Most High, bearing the mantle of humility, will rise far in the cosmic hierarchy. Remember the parable of the talents and the fate of the unprofitable servant who buried his talent in a napkin. Remember the possibility of the correct use of Life's energies and the setting of the sails of cosmic desire.7

Attainment in the world of form is attainment in the world of the formless. Spiritual communion with those Arhats (the Ascended Masters), who are never content to ignore any spiritual treasure trove, will make of each Pearl of Wisdom a jewel in your crown of spiritual rejoicing. Men have supposed that God would reward them for well-doing by crowning them with His own crown of cosmic honor; they have not understood that He fashions that crown out of the substance of their own victorious achievement, and that their crown can be no bigger and no better than they themselves make it.

In the name of common sense, why will men wear the crown of thorns in an act of self-obliteration, when in reality the ego is intended to be divided in half - the lower ego being stomped upon by the victorious feet of the Higher Ego? Every man must put down his own delusion, sort out his own confusion, create his own lawful 'intrusions' into the divine domain, and understand that he has within himself a Christ-ladder that will lead him to victorious attainment - if he will only use it.

The beauty of communion can be sustained when one is in communion with those bright Spirits made in the similitude of God, but certainly not when one is in communion with the spirits of darkness. Saint John said, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God." The astral realm is unprofitable. It is a realm of twirling emotion, a baton of phenomena bereft of worth or permanence.8

Work toward permanence, toward eternal spiritual progression, toward attainment; and Heaven will bless you for it. Consider the boundlessness of the great Divine Identity. Your God Presence created you to share in the bounties of the universe and the Resurrection Flame to quicken your appreciation of the Divine Nature. It should be invoked to inhabit not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well. Then you shall learn to soar victoriously, and you shall be tethered to the practicality of releasing the fruits of reason unto your fellowmen.

In this Pearl I desire to sunder the veil that divides man from his God. I wish to show the importance of the True Self in the divine mystery, so that every man will in love preserve his way into the divine domain and will not sell short the victories that are possible through service and attainment. Knowledge is a gift of your Christed Self. When rightly used, it is priceless. Through the perfect balance of the Eternal Spirit - Love, Wisdom and Power - man attains that immortality which he deserves; for God wills it so.

Peace, victorious ones. The dawn cometh.

Volume 14, Number 9, footnote 5. The Seven Color Rays are the natural division of the pure white light emanating from the Heart of God as it descends through the prism of the Christ consciousness. The Seven Rays and their Chohans (Chohan means "Lord" in Sanskrit) are as follows: 1st Ray of Power and Faith (Blue) - El Morya, embodied as Sir Thomas More; 2nd Ray of Wisdom and Illumination (Yellow) - Lanto, embodied as a sage in ancient China; 3rd Ray of Love and Beauty (pink) - Paul the Venetian, embodied as Paolo Veronese; 4th Ray of Purity and Ascendancy (White) - Serapis Bey, embodied as Phidias, the famous fifth century B.C. Greek sculptor; 5th Ray of Healing and Supply (Green) - Hilarion, embodied as the apostle Paul; 6th Ray of Ministration and Service (Purple and Gold) - Nada, embodied as a priestess in the Temple of Love on Atlantis; 7th Ray of Freedom, Transmutation and Ritual (Violet) - Saint Germain, embodied as Sir Francis Bacon.
The Offices of the Seven Chohans of the Rays are divinely appointed by the Cosmic Hierarchy, who make their selections from among the most qualified Ascended Beings who have arisen from Earth's schools. Those who retain the Office of Chohan hold sovereign responsibility under divine ordination for the administration to mankind of all of the qualitative aspects of their own specific Ray while harmonizing their administration with the other six Rays. The Chohans always obey cosmic Law; yet they are given certain latitude, in keeping with their manifest individual evolution, capacities and special endowments, to direct mankind in the most adroit manner, giving such loving assistance and spiritual direction as may be the requirement of the hour. They retain in their service legions of angelic hosts and Ascended Brethren who carry out the plan of the Great White Brotherhood for the most complete expression of the Seven Rays that is possible among the mankind of Earth.
