The Body of God Requires Assembly

     Dearest Treasures,

Time flies. The day of the savage is past. If remnants remain, I say patience. And in all cases I say patience. Out of the domain of tranquillity are born the most valiant offerings. By stilling the mind, the passions of adversity are understood as passing. The morrow will be valiant. We will it so.

The difficult will is the one tied to selfishness. The fervent will, out of tranquillity, will give birth to an idea. And that idea will drink deeply of the cup of fervor. Thus a fervent will is born. It cannot fail to acknowledge the old electric engrams. Like lightning they flash forth; and in the glare of their appearing, as at noontime, the most hidden objects appear. But their desire to crawl and hide or to masquerade cannot prevent the penetration of the lightning.

Light mirrors Truth, but too close scrutiny sometimes fails to admit change and its potential; for whereas the wheel of darkness turns, so also turns the wheel of Light. Children of the Light often fail to understand that darkness introverts and entangles itself in the skeins of its own creation. This sometimes unperceived snarl is also a snare. What dusty folly is this, that men allow their own spiritual images to be corroded by the mud slung at others?

The frost that appears on the window vanishes with the sun. But the purifying attempts of nature are not to whitewash or to miscolor manifestation. Manifestation speaks for itself. Its utterances through some may at times appear chameleonlike as they present through internal processes of deceit a false coloration. But only the stone, the white stone1 of absolute Truth, can honestly convey that which is.

Morya shares the avalanche of progress sweeping away old structures and ever preparing for the new. Yet I speak of the hidden room of preservation. The wise ones also save the best images. These understand the difficulty in forging a new structure. Modification of the old is also possible, for out of the modified image a new icon is made and stands in place of a pariah.

The depths of despair come to many. These make mud out of struggle. "Share and share alike," they say, but withhold the gift. The greatest gain comes out of the momentum of givingness, for such concepts as these flow with the universal tide. The cherishment of hearts is our religion. Even men of the cloth, men supposedly clothed upon with Light, dare to vituperate, to allow their minds to flow with world hatred. They say, "We are God's children," as though they were fenced in by the idea.

Let them understand the Light and warmth of the Spirit that melts the winter snows. Let them understand the strength that can destroy and the simplicity of duplicity that mars the perfect image. Only Love kindles the great conflagration. Certainly Love is wise. Is it wise to be self-deceived, to be encased in the rigors of age-old hatreds? Embodiment after embodiment, the same mistakes are faced. The Lords of Karma hope for triumph and individuality. If Heaven can be perfect in patience, should man be less perfect?

To follow the example of the arhats, of the avatars, of the Christed ones, is to see God in all. What viciousness that men say, "He is a heathen" because another recognizes God in one whose garments are alien to their own. Struggle, straggle, and strife - these go together. We should call them the ministry of confusion.

Is God one? Can man and God be one? Through the union of love do we create a meld - O holy savor, greatest favor. Chastisement, when understood, mellows the soul. God-chastity can be man-chastity. Attainment is not destruction: destruction is not attainment. Men of spiritual depth perceive with the passing of the years that trivialities have aborted universalities.

That the deceitful ones come seeking to enter in and to entice the noblest orders does not mean that the principle of rejection should close all doors. Even traitors have been trapped by God's love. Be truly illumined; thus the shaft of righteousness shall be a two-edged sword.

Hastiness in construing the words of the Lord does not guarantee accuracy, nor does long pondering. Sometimes the fires of the heart must be contacted. Subterranean chambers containing the deepest treasures may release those treasures to the surface. Shining upon still waters, they reflect the purity of the golden radiance of the sun. But while unexposed to Light, they may appear as ordinary. So let men understand the greatness of individuality.

Jealousy is the root cause behind most conflict. Who else desires to provoke save the provoker? Let God's love shine. It is the strength of the sun. It is the strength of the soul it molds. Many are the forces that seek to form the soul; glory is its pattern and strength is its asset. As it chooses wisely it may garner strength. Surprising even to the self are the hidden assets. In moments of trial men garner these assets. They draw upon hidden springs of divine wisdom and inspiration. They cultivate the acquaintance of souls long gone before them upon the pathway; for lingering gems have been dropped by the hands of saints. Spurned throughout the ages by men of lesser vision, these, by reason of their immortal nature, remain glowing coals from heavenly altars.

The vision of the world must be changed. The fire of change may come. But unless man initiate his own individual fires, and that quickly, the world may encounter universal fires it knows not of.

Psychic energy and extrasensory perception may speak to some of the frosting on the cake, but we who know seek the substance of divine prana. We adorn with simple Christ-jewels - perception, devotion, unification. The thread of contact is fragile. So may be the thread of perception. In some it grows to a cable of universal strength. In others it snaps, and with it the one contact.

O hearts of Light, the momentous decisions facing the earth may be universally applicable, but the decisions facing each man appeal more strongly to us; for the stables of the world need arhats, men of vision and of faith who will assume the herculean tasks that must be done. The fragrance of the little flowers like Thérèse serving in the obscurity of monastic life may be more world-shaking than the chairmanship of the Red Cross. What always ennobles the task is the measure of devotion, of a life.

Divine jewels remain of greater value than earthly ones. Strange sowings must be avoided, familiar spirits shunned, dangerous drugs abhorred, and creative energy honored - not deposited into the refuse of pleasure. Naked is the soul who cannot find in an abundant universe the garments of the Lord as covering. The realities of God are our strength. Wise is the man or woman who does not fear to honor the invisible, all-wise Creator.

Let the mockers mock. In every generation the earth has received their bones. Now the Body of God requires assembly. More workers must be recruited into the vineyard.2 In every way shall the path to our abode be mounted. And the wings shall fly; and the clouds of dust shall die down, the clear air reflecting stillness. The hopes shall soar and the dark ones be no more. The Light of the ages voices triumph; the paltry images, no longer paltry, have been remolded.

The mercy of God in enduring is not required to fit itself into the mold of human sympathy, for the time has come for the dividing of the Light and the darkness.3 Wise are those virgins whose lamps are trimmed, who have bought oil,4 who have established themselves unto God as seekers for reunion. Tender is the Himalayan musk, but most fragrant are hearts filled as a fiery chalice with seeds of Light and trust and joy. The Om mani padme hum, the mantra of a seeking heart that seeks even when full, awaits the devotions of men.

Not in diversion, but out of one-pointedness have I spoken.

Volume 14, Number 9, footnote 5. The Seven Color Rays are the natural division of the pure white light emanating from the Heart of God as it descends through the prism of the Christ consciousness. The Seven Rays and their Chohans (Chohan means "Lord" in Sanskrit) are as follows: 1st Ray of Power and Faith (Blue) - El Morya, embodied as Sir Thomas More; 2nd Ray of Wisdom and Illumination (Yellow) - Lanto, embodied as a sage in ancient China; 3rd Ray of Love and Beauty (pink) - Paul the Venetian, embodied as Paolo Veronese; 4th Ray of Purity and Ascendancy (White) - Serapis Bey, embodied as Phidias, the famous fifth century B.C. Greek sculptor; 5th Ray of Healing and Supply (Green) - Hilarion, embodied as the apostle Paul; 6th Ray of Ministration and Service (Purple and Gold) - Nada, embodied as a priestess in the Temple of Love on Atlantis; 7th Ray of Freedom, Transmutation and Ritual (Violet) - Saint Germain, embodied as Sir Francis Bacon.
The Offices of the Seven Chohans of the Rays are divinely appointed by the Cosmic Hierarchy, who make their selections from among the most qualified Ascended Beings who have arisen from Earth's schools. Those who retain the Office of Chohan hold sovereign responsibility under divine ordination for the administration to mankind of all of the qualitative aspects of their own specific Ray while harmonizing their administration with the other six Rays. The Chohans always obey cosmic Law; yet they are given certain latitude, in keeping with their manifest individual evolution, capacities and special endowments, to direct mankind in the most adroit manner, giving such loving assistance and spiritual direction as may be the requirement of the hour. They retain in their service legions of angelic hosts and Ascended Brethren who carry out the plan of the Great White Brotherhood for the most complete expression of the Seven Rays that is possible among the mankind of Earth.
