The consummate skills of the Lords of Karma in weaving the delicate threads that will one day become mighty cables of supply to each lifestream should be noted, for such benefits are invoked through right thought and action by each individual. Those who sit in the sense of idle drift cannot expect, unless they cast their bread upon the waters either in service or in coin of the realm, to uphold those precepts of their own universal life-energy which, by the law of return, will bring the blessings of heaven to each one's doorstep at the precise moment when they are needed.
The economic crises currently manifesting upon earth are the result of the ravishing, plundering, and imprudent activities of mankind, who have not recognized that the source of their wealth is God. Through material schemes, men have sought to supply not only their lacks but also to provide for their future without reckoning upon the security of spiritual law. They have sought to receive without giving, and the eventual damming up of the flow of supply into their own lives is the result of this wrong action.
Every effect has its cause, and those who would uphold in manifestation in their worlds the law of supply, which is the law of cosmic abundance, must recognize the legitimate needs of others and thus not muzzle the mouth of the ox who treadeth out the corn.
The requirement of the hour of the ascended masters is for a greater voice in world affairs, in a forum of action whereby dissemination of their words can be accomplished in greater measure. The patent ideas of freedom from the ascended masters' octave can and will then descend into the hands and use of those many spiritually hungry souls who will thereby win their freedom.
Blessed ones, there is no more important business upon the planet than the business of Almighty God to free all of his children from discord and despair, to bring about a unity of action for the brotherhood of man, that they together might pioneer in spiritual adventure and reach out into the great planes of God to make and discover a new golden world. At times, mankind lack the true spirit of pioneering, but there should always be in evidence a great fervor - such as existed in the feverish spirit of the gold rush days - for the mining and panning of the gold of Spirit and of spiritual illumination which is the essence of the golden age.
How shall we have greater knowledge to cover the earth except it be released into manifestation? And how shall we release it into manifestation except we build on the foundation stone of Christ-illumination, active within the mind and consciousness of each individual who has prepared himself so as to be able to receive our instruction?
All ascended masters are one in Spirit and, in hope, they regenerate the desire to produce good fortune upon earth; yet, we know that our wish alone, like the wish of our heavenly Father, can only extend itself into the domain of mankind as they prove by their actions that they are ready and willing to accept it. There is something about acceptance, precious ones, that is akin to a good climate for growing things. To expand one's spiritual consciousness is to expand the consciousness of prosperity that thou mayest prosper even as thy soul prospereth.
The soul substance of men must become self-expanding, for God has placed within the human monad the possibility and potential of such opulent beauty as to defy the imagination. But there are clutching, grabbing forces of fear rampant in the world today that cause men to forget that he who "will save his life shall lose it." The losing of one's life for Christ's sake and for the expansion of his kingdom upon earth is the greatest and most blessed assurance that men can ever know. It is that total immersion in the sea of God being.
When we deal in elementary matters such as this, it is solely because it is the need of the hour. In the name of heaven, blessed ones, if your life's breath were to be choked off, regardless of how mighty your physical form, or how strong the flexed muscle, the body would soon lie prone upon the earth. We who serve the cause of freedom have no desire for aught else but the blessing of all mankind. Our total service to life is to see to it that you are supplied with every good thing, with every requirement at the precise hour of need.
You are custodians of God's grace, of his light, of his strength, and in the unity of your organized service, there is a strength that transcends the dimensions of the net worth of the individual. You came into manifestation to conquer, to serve life, to fulfill holy vows. Your life, individually, is not important, for the sum total of all the parts upholds the highest within you. That ye may receive, I say, give, and it shall be returned to you, "pressed down, and shaken together, and running over."
