An Advance Guard of Those Elite Ones
To You Who Behold Lovingly the Christ of Every Man,
The Christ of every road must become the Christ of every man. Today, with the world seeming to shrink in consciousness and with the advent of new methods of transportation and communication coming to the fore in each decade, it is necessary that old ideas be cast aside and that the broadness of Cosmic Love replace the narrowness of love of clan, of creed and of cloister.
In the great land of India, replete with a host of Masters, both Ascended and unascended, the mystic idea of spiritual wonder spreads abroad and weaves a net of fantasy which hangs as a veil across the face of Truth in all of Its Immortal Radiance. The total world is also covered with a veil of illusion, and if men would be truly wise they must possess the Power of peering behind the illusions of life to receive within their souls and hearts the messages which God intends to impart to them, even in little finite happenings.
I would not this day disturb your worlds without cause; yet I come to generate in you a new respect for true revelation. Just as the flowers spring up upon the mountain and delight the weary traveler, so spiritual ideals, when expressed in the rugged setting of individuality, can make of the most harsh and jagged appearance a place of beauty. Let Me urge, then, that all men seek for the refinement in their characters of the jagged edges and harsh manifestations which sometimes accompany the sense of struggle.
As Saint Germain has told you, it is the sense of struggle which makes the struggle. But I AM certain you realize that every such statement of Ascended Master Law does not stand alone, but has many facets. Therefore, it ought to be easy enough for individuals to understand that the refinement of their own outer nature provides a facile pathway upon which the currents of Light may flow.
Some individuals seem content to sit back and to await the manifestation of their Divine Reality. They excuse their meanderings from the path of righteousness as being the result of their unfulfilled destinies. They say, "We are not yet perfect." How true, Blessed Ones; but I ask you now, do you think that you will attain your Perfection by affirming that you are not yet perfect? Why not, then, give consideration to the idea of Perfection, as though that Perfection were already your own complete manifestation? Why not, in those areas where you know you are deficient, replace the archaic and decadent manifestations with an object of beauty that will impart to those whom you contact some essence of Reality?
Surely it must be apparent that discordant sounds and the clashes of human personality with one another do not produce a feeling of happiness and joy; on the contrary, they result in feelings of frustration and discontent. It is true that some individuals, having not yet attained a greater spiritual realization, are pleased to foment human discord, but certainly this is not the way of the enlightened one. Therefore, I say, let peaceable intents pervade the entire body of those who serve God's Kingdom and seek to express His Light.
In the Name of Holy Reason I say, do you not think you can accomplish more by being harmonious than inharmonious? Do you not think that the Power of Truth is greater than error? Beloved Kuthumi and Jesus together with others of the Ascended Host have for so long manifestly expressed the holding of Harmony as Their prime intent for all of the chelas of the Ascended Masters. Above all, remember that within the center of your Being, there, right where You abide - and I refer to your Great Reality - the Flame of God burns. This is a Consuming Fire and It has the Power to transform all substance surrounding It into Its own Radiance. It remains, however, for each individual to submit his own will to the Will of God, that he may imbibe that Whole Will in his entire Being.
Now, I cannot deny that as the Will of God which abides within the Flame of God's Eternal Presence anchored in Man's Heart, is given greater dominion, It will produce an effective transformation in outer conditions. This is the Law and It must be fulfilled. But this is a Law that cannot fulfill Itself.
Many times individuals patiently wait for God's Law to act. Yet they continue to manifest the same sense of struggle and the same disobedience to the Law in their outer expression. There is much to be said for the idea of acting the part of an Ascended Being, even though sometimes painfully aware of one's shortcomings. Through the imitation of the Masters' attitudes and feelings towards life, Man comes to love the Master more and to draw a greater portion of His Radiance from within into outer expression.
Inasmuch as all Masters of The Great White Brotherhood are ONE in Reality, the transformation of the individual into a Christ-accomplished Being is a transformation from a human monad, a mere person having aims and ambitions, into a Cosmic Being Who is part of the Master Plan of Universal Love. The Spires of the Spirit, the towers of the Celestial Radiance become, then, more tangible and real day by day. This does not detract from man's appreciation of his natural beauty or of the scientific wonder of creation. This does not prevent man from having joy in the creation of form, which is apparent to him through the avenue of the senses; nay, it enhances the wonder of all and brings him to a state where the mystery of Being is stripped of the outer falsification of the senses.
Just as some of the fakirs in Our land of India have been laughed at by western man - and in one sense persecuted by them - so individuals have in a great sense of Ignorance taunted the Ascended Masters by ridiculing Their chelas. Now, this has no power to affect the Masters but reacts solely in the world of the individual who in ignorance expresses human venom. However, let Me clearly point out that the chelas themselves must not react in a discordant manner to those individuals who, due to a lack of understanding, express themselves in a manner unbecoming to a child of Light. After all, Precious Ones, these individuals in many cases have not had the same opportunities which you have had, and they need the power of a wonderful example in order to show them that God is the Master of your Temple and Life.
Because, in the days to come, many wonderful opportunities will come to the seekers who are quickened by the intense amplification of Light's Energies upon Earth, it is most important that there be in readiness an advance guard of those elite ones who are willing to make themselves, as it were, eunuchs to the Holy Will of God - those who will submit their outer personality that Christ may stand forth in their auras and Presence.
I bear no malice against those who have tried and failed; but I say to all, remember, Precious Ones, that the rule of your life is that which you yourself have established. If you would alter present conditions, or the effluvia against which you struggle, it must come to pass that you reconsecrate those Energies which you have desecrated by wrong action in the past. This is but the fulfillment of the Law, and it would be most uncomforting indeed for mankind to feel that the universe was without justice.
Know, then, that the justice that you give to others shall return to you multiplied many times. The Law is adamant but compassionate. The Law is just but pure. The Law is Love in Essence and in the sense of Infinite Security; for though the mountains were to fall and the world to dissolve into a fire mist, those immortally consecrated to God Truth would remain in Consciousness with the Father, ready to be placed in their appointed place at the appointed hour.
There is no Destiny greater than Cosmic Destiny; no wonder greater than God's Wonder. And all of this Wonder is locked in that storehouse which holds the treasures of Heaven - your own Mighty God Presence which "I AM."
