To Students of the Christic Mysteries Who Will Learn the Law of Immortality -
Thou radiant perfection of Light, descend into the hearts of men and let them partake of thy Reality, let them become thy Immortality, let them know the fullness of their Being!
I AM come that men might have Life (God), and that more abundantly.1 How can it be that those who profess to believe in God can fail to understand that the expansion of divine privilege is the will of God for all? Inasmuch as Life is a divinely endowed privilege, it follows in the fullness of God's will that all men should receive more abundant Life as their faith calls into action the intended manifestation of God's blessings.
Timidity, which hides its light under a bushel2 of neglect and rationalization, can never inherit the kingdom of God. In order to draw forth the required momentum of victorious immortality, a waning faith (faint heart, feeble spirit, hesitation, inaction) must be replaced by confidence in our Father's plan and its certain unfoldment in man.
The contact our students make with God at inner levels of consciousness may not be fully appreciated by the outer mind due to the fact that they are not entirely aware of the inner grace (light) they already possess (through the crystal cord and the threefold flame). If those who yearn to experience the affluence of the Mind of God and his inner guidance will persistently call for the expansion of the flame of divine illumination within their hearts, they will be amply rewarded; for out of the consciousness of this inner grace (transmitted by the Holy Christ Self) comes the understanding of Life and the instruction on how to energize the cells of the physical body and how to control the bodies of thought and feeling.
The memory body of man (called the `etheric,' or fire, body) must likewise be energized by spiritual power until the `parts' of the Whole which manifest in man become the sum of his inner-level experience. This is accomplished, dear ones, through thy meditation on Light precipitated in thy members through the science of the spoken Word.
Now, there are schools which do not place enough emphasis on the exercise of the faculty of memory; others encourage its abuse through learning by rote without soul comprehension (the education of the heart) or the integration of the mental and spiritual faculties. And this we would warn against - for out of the divine memory of continuous self-conscious awareness throughout all previous existence there is impressed upon the mental body, the desire body, and the physical body the attributes (spiritual `genes') of the soul personality. These cycle into manifestation not all at once but little by little as the child develops into an adult and throughout life.
Thus, through schooling and the disciplines of the Brotherhood, the outer mind must frequent the spiral stairway to the inner memory, thereby establishing the channel for the descent of higher powers and the release of genius attained in previous lives - also recorded in the blessed memory body, truly the archives of the soul's history.
The blessed vehicle of the memory was created to record the divine pattern for each lifestream as well as the truth of his experiences on the etheric plane and his soul-awareness in the higher octaves of being. Throughout man's evolution in human form, there has been impressed upon it, however, those discordant thoughtforms, misqualified energies of the mass consciousness, and everyday trivia which crowd out the crystal purity and simplicity of God's continual self-revelation to man, abundant in variety and rich in blessing.
The need of the hour, then, is the purification of the etheric body from the debris of sense consciousness in order to uncover the original records of the Creator's intent and to make room in the "inn of being" for soul consciousness - the Christ Light of true felicity in the bliss of divine experience. I know of no more efficacious means of accomplishing this purification (presently available to our disciples) than the application of the violet fire through the daily giving of dynamic decrees.
Prayer, fasting, meditation on the Presence - physical exercise, yoga, breathing in fresh air and sunshine, et cetera - and, above all, harmony in the feeling world, high-mindedness, proper rest and a wholesome diet will complement your application of the Word for maximum acceleration of the divine memory of the Mind of God within your etheric body and its anchoring in the physical cells of the brain and central nervous system. Observing the above steps will contribute that needed balance that makes you both peaceful and energetic, confident of your path and person, and a cheerful example spreading joy and enthusiasm to all! Such as these breathe the air of holy purpose and accomplish it!
The God-identity of each disciple is to be found in his acceptance of the power of the I AM Presence to outpicture his blessed divine plan in the physical octave through the four lower bodies, under the guidance and tutelage of the Holy Christ Self. Bearing in mind that we have revealed the memory body as the keystone in the arch of being, connecting the `Above' and the `below' of your consciousness, please consider the following:
Since the physical octave is the proving ground for spiritual achievement and the place where the gift of salvation is appropriated by good works, it is here on earth that God-identity must be realized - not in some nirvanic state following a life of inaction, or contemplation and yogic practices without works. The four lower bodies, then (as memory, mind, feelings, and physical form), are the instruments through which the perfection of the I AM must manifest in order that it might be fulfilled: "I AM thy will being done in earth as it is in heaven."3
Beloved ones, that which you are outpicturing in your four lower bodies is the index of your present conscious understanding - or your unconscious or subconscious ignorance. What you are and what you think can clearly be seen in what is manifesting in those four lower bodies, both from our vantage and by the spiritually attuned and perceptive unascended teachers.
The vision of God-identity which you have first beheld and then held in the chalice of your consciousness is that which you are outpicturing, however limited that concept might be. The Law states that unless you are outpicturing in your four lower bodies (the four sides of the great pyramid of self) the fullness of the divine image, you have not, in fact, accurately perceived that image: As a man seeth in his heart, so is he in outer expression.4 Conversely, he cannot be or become that which he has not seen.
Now, it is our fervent desire (de-sire) that from the De-ity you sire that "Sun of Righteousness" which shall bear you up on healing wings of God-Thought and sustain within you the perfect matrix of your immortal Selfhood.5 Your etheric body is the logical vehicle for this, being, in its pure state, the highest vibrating body of the four lower bodies. In each conscious or unconscious output of energy, you are either molding or marring the divine image within you - the result being a consequent manifestation of that energy pattern, duly consecrated or desecrated, within the three lesser bodies.
The etheric body is a chalice for the sacred fire of your I AM Presence, the vessel of the chakras and the temple of your Christ Self - when purified. The soul who has elevated itself vibrationally to a comfortability in this exalted plane wears the etheric garment as a vehicle for so-called out-of-the-body `soul travel.' Thus we emphasize that upon your deliberate purification and spiritual exercise of the memory body depends your accomplishment of assignments given to you prior to this life as the set goal of this embodiment.
The key to scientifically accurate precipitation within the walls of your tabernacle - the place where you can learn to be the wise masterbuilder, the place where God is - will be discovered by you, beloved, through your implementation of the knowledge that your four lower bodies are the chaliced focus in this octave for the will, wisdom, love, and power of God.
It must be seen that these bodies are not four horsemen in competition for the prize of individual identity but a team of stallions driven by one charioteer, your True Self, who uses their combined energies for a unified effort to win the cup of balanced action in the thrust for the immortal purpose of Christ-identity.
You see, my blessed disciples, it is the Holy Christ Self who must be given free rein over the energies lowered first into the receptacle of your memory body, thence directed to the mental body, the desire body, and the physical body. These energies are entrusted to your use to glorify God in the physical octave. In surrendering the reins of controlled action to the Mentor who holds the outline (map) of your life's course within his hand, you are thereby declaring your acceptance of the precept embodied in the first commandment of the Law, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."6
By your free will, you thereby deny all power to the idols of the `kings' of this world7 and stand in the grace of my mission. Having taken conscious dominion over the wilderness temptations,8 you will return to the kingdom (the consciousness of the City Foursquare "coming down from God out of heaven"9) in the confidence that when the prince of this world cometh, he shall find nothing in you;10 for you shall have made of your four lower bodies the tabernacle of God, supported by pillars of divine will, illumined by wisdom, and outpictured by the power and love of the Creator.
Indeed, there shall nothing be found within that city which lieth foursquare that taints (defiles11) the divine identity, for having once subjected yourselves unto the law of immortality, in unity of purpose to the expression of "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done," the hypothetical laws of sin and death (mortality) can no longer hold sway over your existence.12
Thus your immortality is gained in the here and now through the conscious taking on, day by day and hourly, of that infinite consciousness which includes the universe in its love and regard and can partake only of the completeness of the Christ in both thought and action through the four lower bodies.
Awaken, ye potential saints, to the call of the I AM and of your Holy Christ Self, whose clarion voice declares: Arise! Arise! Arise, shine!13 in the acceptance of thy Light and thy immortality through the conscious release of thy four lower bodies into the mainstream of divine direction descending from on high through the crystal cord into the upraised chalice of thy heart flame.
Be still and know that I who made thee will walk with thee alway, for I AM the very core of thy design. I AM thy Light and I AM thy Life and I AM thy soul's identification with immortality now and forever!
In the stillness of the dawn of thy immortality, I AM the resurrection of divinely inspired good works within thee.
