Spiritually exalting experiences have far reaching effects, wonderful to behold in the lives of those who are so fortunate as to have them. Every perceptive individual ought not to neglect the pursuit of Inner Glory for the intrigues of the ephemeral and changing world. The Great White Brotherhood is ever concerned with the development in the individual of excellence and proficiency in the mastery of Spiritual Arts and Graces.
Now, so-called "reading" of past embodiments, consisting of the delving into the past or ancient etheric records has afforded some individuals a measure of happiness, inasmuch as it has appeared to them to be useful in understanding themselves and working out their own negative karma (the return to mankind of error or misqualified energy, sent out in the past, for purification and release by its own creator, according to the Law of the Circle) and obtaining a better understanding of the seeming injustices of Life.
Now, Beloved Ones interested solely in obtaining Truth, let Me point out that outside of a few specially gifted, unascended teachers and the Blessed Ascended Masters such as Saint Germain, great inaccuracy often exists in such readings. For these may be derived from the personal maya or delusion of the "reader" or, more unfortunate still, they may stem from those unwholesome psychic states which have far too long been the degradation of the people of Earth.
The fact that many wonderful and sincere people either engage or believe in such practices frequently leads many devoted chelas into psychic pitfalls which eventually result in much unhappiness. Most people do act innocently enough in these matters, often being of the caliber to have a great love for the Masters of Wisdom and The Brotherhood. However, it is most unfortunate that the seeking of the more sensational aspects of the invisible world frequently appeals to people, for by reason of this appeal for the unusual, inherent in human nature, a penchant for erroneous and dangerous probings of the "unknown" has been woven into the fabric of mankind's Divine Search.
The Great Masters always employ care and discrimination in releasing information to the chelas about themselves, desiring to offer only encouragement, guidance, and blessings poured out without limit. It is never Our intention to draw the shadowed enclosures of the past into the consciousness of the sincere student of today who will ultimately balance all karmic matters in the safety and Protection of the Mighty Retreats of Light and under the guidance of one or more of the Great Masters of this Supreme Brotherhood of Servers.
Spiritual leaders who are qualified to read the akashic records of the past should be unusually discrete in the dispensing of such information to mankind. Now, while it is not Our intent to discourage this practice in toto or to in any way discredit individuals or organizations who advocate such practices, it is Our wish to alert the sincere chela to the dangers which may be inherent in such readings unless they are governed by extraordinary care. We would thus afford LIGHT'S PROTECTION to the Lambs of God who innocently proceed to open "Pandora' s box" and unleash destructive energy into their blessed worlds, quite unknowingly.
Those of you who have requested information on this subject can be directed here and now to be very careful not to completely reorientate your lives solely upon the basis of life readings, for the information which may be obtained therefrom is never any substitute for the guidance of your own MIGHTY "I AM" PRESENCE. Before just acceptance of each orderly scrap of information released into your consciousness is made, it should be placed in the "weighing scales" of Divine Justice anchored in the Heart of your own Mighty God Self. Such application to the God Self of individual Being will afford men and women of today the complete pattern required for VICTORY over all wrong conditions, past or present, and bring them to the full LIGHT of the only Reality in all Eternity, already manifesting in the Sacred Fire abiding within their Hearts.
If past etheric records be stirred up, they sometimes release a sea of energy whose turgid waters temporarily black out the Radiance of Happiness which should naturally manifest in the Hearts of those chelas who are devoted to the Unfailing Light of their own Divine Self. Honestly, Beloved Ones, do you really feel the need to know of some evil deed which you may one day have performed before you discovered the wonder of doing better? Would it not be best to seek to discover how you can assist your fellow men in need in the present hour, and serve thereby to amend any and all mistakes of the past? I AM certain that every honest Heart who will turn to the God within for the answer will agree with Our Indian Council that this is so!
It is not Our wish to decry all spiritual reading of the akashic records, for there are times when qualified individuals can perform a real service for men which will help them to better understand how to rise above their karma and understand the Great Laws of Life. However, We are specifically interested in having the sincere chelas develop enough God Discrimination that they will not be swayed by every voice that crieth, "Lord, Lord ..." On the contrary, Beloved Ones, be alert to try the spirits to see that they are of the GREATER LIGHT OF ILLUMINED LOVE!
Usually highly qualified individuals will not attempt to probe the entire life record of a chela. While there are exceptions to this and it is not a hard rule, it is always best for the chela to DRAW NIGH to his own God Presence for necessary revelation pertaining to the working out of all karmic conditions and establishing himself in a state of absolute Divine Dominion over dependence upon outer persons, places, conditions or things which can never give to Man his permanent Freedom.
Above all, Beloved Ones, it is not the wish of Our Council to destroy men's Faith in noble Spiritual Arts. Nevertheless, We do not wish to see sincere men and women destroyed or harmed by the foolish gullibility of the blind who lead the blind which will only sidetrack them from the Great Realities of Life. The Brotherhood is constantly releasing new and progressive assistance to mankind, and We hope in due time, through future releases, to reveal methods of self-discovery which will enable each chela to draw closer to every Ascended Being and to those Laws of Life which will bestow on all the Gift of the Ascension.
We would honor each channel of Truth who understands the need to keep Faith with Universal Integrity and to practice day by day those interior Rites of Perfection which draw from the Heart of God, the Mighty Fiery Baptism of EXPANDING LIGHT. Each one so imbued is charged with exquisite Grace and the Power to manifestly be his brother's keeper in safety, progress, and wondrously-endowed Spiritual Friendship.
With the Spirit of absolute courage and forthright action, I AM authorizing The Summit Lighthouse, by decision of the Indian Council of The Great White Brotherhood, to continue to release Truth for the sake of Truth and the blessing of all who find happiness in expressing God Freedom and Purity.
Let Love continue without dissimulation, let Wisdom increase Her shining, let Spiritual Arts and Graces draw from the transmuting Fountain of Illumination to show all how to wisely walk over the road of Life into the waiting Arms of Immortality and a Haven of Rest in the Great Heart of Light, Life, and Charity, glowing with limitless Energy.
