Engravers of Self-Luminous Intelligent Substance -
Immortal energy patterns are being woven continuously by the children of God, both ascended and unascended. Whether they are formed carelessly or lovingly, these engravings are cast in the die of self-luminous intelligent substance, ever flowing from the heart of the Presence of God. Once established, they become like tablets of law - commandments which, from the level of the subconscious, exercise authority in the world of the creator and sustainer of the original pattern.
Today is the accepted day of grace (salvation)1 when the wondrous power of the Spirit of God must be allowed to prevail if men are to become and remain free from each and every snare, whether self-woven or the unwanted handiwork of another.
Earnestly and lovingly, all heaven yearns to set free from imprisonment in egocentric ideas all captive minds and hearts and souls. How we long to see the auric forcefield of every child of God charged with the pure and radiant energies of our spheres!
Would that your benign aspirations themselves could set you free! But your yearnings cannot perpetually exalt you; even your intense wishes are powerless unless you implement your seeking with the action of finding and emulating the Good Shepherd (your Holy Christ Self) by gathering the restless sheep of your diversified and dissipated life's energy into the sheepfold of unified and everlasting peace.
So often it is but a mere thread of contact that connects individuals with their mighty God-identity, yet even this is enough if the opportunities Life presents be seized at the right moment. Salvation is a gift of God,2 beloved ones, but each one must stretch forth the hand of his longings and accept that precious gift.
While many wait for me to save them and to give them the fullness of my comfort - which I long to do - the Great Law of Life, reflected in the law of each one's being, demands that the disciple of Christ prove himself willing to work out his own salvation with reverence (fear, awe) and the tingling joy (trembling) of the Holy Spirit.3 This Holy One of God floods the children of God with light and bathes their four lower bodies with a mighty tinge of angelic and cosmic glory. Expanding at last into the fullness of divine comfort, the soul communes with the Father/Mother Source of his own blessed life.
Long ago, as I expanded my soul into the essence of communion with the Holy Christ Self of all through the universal Christ, I sent forth the call on wings of light to the eternal Father, to his heart of creation and being, to flood the essence and consciousness of himself into the hearts of his children so that all who did hunger and thirst after righteousness might drink of the water of Life freely.
Blessed ones, the water of Life flows freely from your I AM Presence charged with the feeling of the unlimited and unmeasured current of God's being, imparted unto each son and daughter of immortal Life in accordance with his capacity to receive. It is this full quality and power of God's immortality and intelligence in the very `water' (energy) of Life which quickens in every son and daughter of Life the sense of the soul's eternal mission.
This unifying, intelligent current from the heart of the Creator flows into the hearts of his offspring, enabling the alert and perceptive to imbibe the fullness of their inherent potential, regardless of how far short of the mark of Christhood they may be. The Father is ever a fount of hope!
Were it possible at this very moment for every seeker of oneness with God to outpicture the fullness of the divine nature, there would be no continuing need for greater effort; for the reality of Life would have dawned. Alas, such is not the case, for lesser aims have consumed men. Therefore, they must retrace their steps, realign their energies to more sublime goals, and sit at the feet of the Master Presence of their own God Self once again to renew their vows and to accept the aid of heaven without fear or mental reservation.
I am standing with beloved Kuthumi for the purpose of illumining every teacher and every student with the beautiful simplicity of that God-understanding which will enable all to fathom just how they have been brought under the power of habit and how they can best escape from every negative, binding, and unwanted condition for the sake of their soul's eternal unfoldment of the heart's rose of light.
Habit and thought are akin and the products, somewhat, of each other. Habit, of course, stems from the conscious election to think and carry out a thought and from permitting one's life energies to run in appointed channels, whether by design or haphazardly.
Thought is a product of the habit of reflection. It may be described as the agitation (cogitation) of ideas, or ideation, resulting from the ray of illumination focused from the Divine Mind commingling with human reason - and unfortunately diluted by error and misqualified energy. Thought is capable of logic, as in the inductive and deductive reasoning processes exercised by man in his analysis of the substance and circumstance of his world of cause and effect.
In higher octaves, the thought process may be replaced by a direct apprehension or sudden, a priori awareness through contact with the all-knowing (omniscient) Source of universal wisdom. Stored in the Great Causal Body of cosmos, the fruits of the cogitation of the saints are employed to bless all Life as the collective thought/property of all manifestations (extensions) of the one Mind.
Inasmuch as Truth is one in those realms of light to which we are accustomed, the recall (or memory) processes do not err. Therefore, the oneness and invariability of Truth remains the same yesterday and today and forever.4 This is the state of the Christ Mind, which is solely under the power of God and is never controlled by the unbridled habits of the human mind.
Humanly developed habits, nonreflective of the divine habits and habitats of Be-ness, are a mischievous assembly of pernicious practices, transmitted from man to man by the contagion of devilish concepts and fallen examples. There are many good habits which should be further developed and retained. Good habits are conducive to amplifying the power of the higher octaves and harnessing the light of higher dimensions to do the bidding of the seeker for the Christ consciousness here below in the physical plane.
The very process of breathing is itself a habit resulting from the inward impulse and will to live. This involuntary process functions automatically twenty-four hours a day, serving to fan the flame of Life within each lifestream.
Now, there is a shift of consciousness which occurs periodically within individuals whereby voluntary habits established by the mind and free will of man become involuntary processes through the internal consent of the body elemental. This is usually accomplished when actions are indicated as desirable by the outer self through frequency of repetition.
It is just as easy as not for men to establish unwanted attitudes and conditions of consciousness whereby the spur of an emotional episode - such as the reaction to another's glance, driving habits, or tone of voice - can cause powerful vortices of tornadic anger to charge from the emotional body like a thunderstorm unleashed without warning.
This is a decidedly wrong action, and the God-guard of an altar of sweetened consciousness should be held in the face of each such trial, if balance is to be kept by the individual and a lesson in God-control mastered. It is far better to prevent the stain of sin before it becomes etched in the memory than to permit it unbridled entrance into the thoughts and feelings.
The repetitiveness of the indulgence and the intensity of the feelings determine the depth of the imprint made upon the recorded memory of man. At times, even resistance to evil can intensify rather than diminish the action or reaction of evil - unless that resistance is accompanied by the serious use of the violet transmuting flame.
The ministering servant must understand my words of old "Resist not evil"5 and balance them with the scriptural admonishment "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."6 In rightly dividing the word of Truth7 in daily living, it must be perceived that there is a time to resist and a time not to resist - whether the enemy be bad habit or the Evil One.
Undesirable habits can best be overcome by a nonresistant state wherein the soul of man is literally flooded with such intense goodness from God that discordant, even deathlike appearances are swallowed up in the harmony of heaven. Thus, Good overcomes Evil by being its own directing law and intelligence in action.
However, militant evil directly attacking an individual through the mental projection of the malevolent thought of another - because of its very subtlety and unseen nature - must be dealt with by the firm denial of its power and the affirmation of the all-power (omnipotence) of Good to overcome and annihilate all negative thought or unwanted conditions.
Therefore, resist this type of an attack of evil until it flees from you and returns like a boomerang to the one sending it out. The result is that the inrush of misqualified energy, turned back upon itself, is self-destroyed.
Care must ever be exercised, in dealing with such aggressive mental suggestion, to practice Christ-discrimination and to keep a sincere heart. Those whose nature is not yet fully illumined are sometimes incensed in ignorance or influenced by limited knowledge to direct wrongly qualified energy against their own brethren, thinking they do God a service.8
This ignorant yet malicious practice can manifest as militant evil or even in psychic murder. The resultant misqualified energy is thus made available to the sinister force, which uses it to tempt the devout in diverse ways by means of intense, almost hypnotic thought projections of fear and of hate and hate creation and its counterpart, insanity.
The light energy used to sustain such malignant and malefic error, even by well-meaning individuals, becomes nevertheless perverted and inverted into darkness within them. Thus, I warned the abusers of God's power with the words: If the Light that is in thee be (misqualified) darkness, how great is that darkness!9
This grave darkness covering the spiritual senses and densifying the chakras prevents the individual so engaged in misqualifying the light from seeing the mote in his own eye and the need to remove it.10 And this clouded state of unknowing begets the wider sin of projecting one's subconscious criticism, condemnation, and judgment upon the unsuspecting.
The disciple mounting the path of Love through the Law of the One utterly refuses to be brought under the power of entrenched evil projected against him from any source known or unknown. He cleaves unto the Father and his beloved I AM Presence as his supreme shield against all unrighteousness.
Blessed ones, the temple of God is Life, and the moneychangers who would make of Life a den of thieves must be cast out of one's consciousness and Life.11 Allegiance to the honor of God demands that this be done in order to keep the Father's house a place of prayer and communion with him.
Little children, I have warned you that antichrist should come.12 Now learn that bad habit is his entrance to your world. Therefore, form good habits of strong, positive thought centered in God's love and you will not be led astray to enter into the worst of all habits I know: criticism, condemnation, and judgment of thy fellowservant striving, and ofttimes struggling, to also reach my heart.
The treasured concepts of immortality require the chela's complete dedication. And you are being tested daily. To go on and to finish the course, you need a mind pure and strong that will not succumb to the wiles of gossip.
While I am aware that many admire me as Jesus the Christ, I consider that the highest honor anyone can pay me is to give his allegiance to the source of the all-power of God and its foundation in my life: obedience to the precepts of God - a mind dwelling in the constancy of his love and dedicated first and foremost to him, and thence directed as a beam of light to all creation. Do thou likewise and attain within thine own being the victory of Love. This is true worship and perfect adoration of the Father.
Remember always: To establish heavenly habits enables the disciple to evolve to a higher state of Christ-illumination - a state which overcomes the world, casts out every unwanted thought (or feeling) of human creation, and attains its cherished victory.
We unite our consciousness with every sincere follower of Truth and offer here and now our most powerful assistance in overcoming undesirable habits and replacing them by a mighty fountain of Christ-virtue.
