Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty! Dare our Brotherhood dilute its precepts or offer to a hungering world less than the bread of heaven? Blessed ones, there is ever a constant clamor on the part of men and women for an adjustment of divine standards to their own level of achievement. While the Great Law and the Karmic Board have never "catered" to this call, they have always tempered each human requirement in a realistic manner whenever the law would permit. It is never the intention of the Great White Brotherhood to lower entrance qualifications so that all can enter at once; rather, it is our plan to so exalt the entire race that one by one and as rapidly as possible all can be made ready to be "one of us!"
Far too frequently religious leaders - and even political leaders - are guided by mob hysteria and response to popularity (vox-populi - Latin: voice of the people) instead of being standard-bearers of an exalting principle. Public relations is presently dependent upon the mass media of communication, and the duplication of error is legion and widespread. The need is for absolutely honest reporting of the true facts. We have always released God-truth to the students of this activity without thought of personal popularity, for we know that only by Christ-illumined guidance can the greatest progress be attained by each individual.
I am calling the attention of all new students to the wealth of truth released in the past five years through The Summit Lighthouse, for these back numbers of Pearls of Wisdom bear study and meditation. They are of inestimable value - representing the life energy of magnificent Cosmic Beings and Masters of the unfailing Light of God. Truth is eternal, blessed ones, and you can read and re-read our releases with only marvelous results insofar as your spiritual progress and happiness are concerned. The timeless messages we offer are our very life and I am impelled as I perceive the karmic record to call this to your attention so that none of you who have had this precious opportunity shall be charged with neglect. A Pearl of Great Price requires recognition, and those who see the transcendent light behind each sparkling release cannot fail to perceive God's lustre and radiance "shining through" with all the blessings of our octave and heaven itself!
Shortly, beloved El Morya will release his encyclical dealing with current world affairs and representing much study by the Darjeeling and Indian Councils of the Great White Lodge. I trust all will pay special attention to each word and thought, absorbing it as a connecting link between the Holy Brothers here and your own lovely selves. O, how deep and moving is the love and service of our great Brotherhood! How extensive our coverage of world affairs! No matter the appearance, blessed children of the Light; without the protection of our dedicated body of servers for the Cosmic Christ - how far do you think the world would progress toward the Light - how long do you think society unaided could fend off the results of their own neglect and confusion?
So deep is El Morya's and Saint Germain's love that I hope in thought and feeling you can accept that reverence which I feel for them. I know that human will is often like flaky cement in its hardness and rejection of its own greatest blessings, but I am persuaded likewise that the tender infinitudes of God's own truth do reach out to enfold and include every sincere seeker: drawing the entire earth to the exalted vision of the Universal Christ Image, as the sole rule and standard for golden age man!
The folly of man's unwitting rejection of great opportunity ought never to intrude between the heart of the sincere seeker and his own wonderful Divine Self. Human fatigue, boredom and the sense of sameness can be wisely replaced with an ever-new feeling of the daily resurgence of God's life whose energy like a fountain of youth renews, restores and raises each one into the happiness of hope eternal.
I cannot urge too strongly that each one make his daily application. Decrees, unless given with calmness, faith and determination and the certain knowing that God answers every call, will not produce the marvelous results which should be your daily harvest.
The law does not apply itself. You as heirs of Christ and as sons of God must invoke, convoke and harmonize with all who have this supreme understanding. Social and religious mores ought not to prove pits of destructive calcination, but rather become springboards toward an integrated God consciousness on the part of the least as well as the greatest of his children.
Heaven is watching you, each and every one, and our assistance is forthcoming in answer to your faithful calls made during individual attunement and in assemblies of Light.
It is our hope that this year may see a conclave of such world-shaking import as has not yet been conducted upon earth since the first golden age. Time will tell. The challenges and people to meet them are already in embodiment, and we stand poised to give every ounce of assistance life will permit. What will your individual scorecard show?
